"The hotel itself was fine, and the staff was extremely professional and friendly. Sadly, the surrounding area felt a bit sketchy, and I wouldn’t feel comfortable walking around after a certain hour. I would definitely recommend using a taxi or Cabify if you’re going out after dark. Although the hotel is somewhat centrally located, the area didn’t necessarily feel like the safest place, especially at night."

"The property location is close to shops, restaurants, the Boqueria market. The staff is courteous and offer good service. The rooms are very spacious and clean. I travel a lot and have high standards with 4 stars hotels ratings. This is a 4 star old hotel that could use some upgrades. For instance the outlets in the room are at floor level so charging your phone, you have to reach under the desk or night stand to get to it. This should be at table level. The faucets in the bathroom are old fashioned. One faucet for cold and the other for hot. There are written instructions to turn the water on in the shower so that should tell you how old the hotel is. With that said, this can be overlooked because of the service and location."
