"Clean room, quiet at night. As explained beforehand to travelers, the actual lodges are uphill and if you are on the top level rooms, it's quite a bit of exercise. We found that no problem since we are in good shape. If you are physically limited, ask for a lower room. The Peaks Restaurant was very good with great servers. Be sure to reserve ahead of time that day for your evening meal. They really book up for dinner. The pizzas are a big hit for folks as well, with a nice deck to sit out and take in the peaks in the golden alpenglow."

For a lodge this close to the national parks, you shouldn’t expect luxury, but Stony Creek Lodge exceeded my expectations. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was surprisingly good. The breakfast was easily comparable to, if not better than, what you’d get at some major budget hotel chains. Overall, a great place to stay when visiting the parks!"

The only issue was that the air conditioner unit didn’t work well and didn’t cool off the house until the middle of the night and it was very hot in the house - 82 degrees.
