AutoCamp Sequoia

"The Airstream was clean and nicely decorated. It had all that you needed for a comfy stay. Few small issues… a few of the window screens were torn which made it difficult to leave windows open at night. Two of them were fine and we kept them open, but one of the two window would not latch to stay open and would collapse at times. The curtains above our bed were torn which is tasteless for the price charged. Lastly, there was a gap as you closed the door that made you think insects would crawl in. FYI, I did not see any in our room. But overall, I loved the concept. Staff were friendly and helpful and service and food was great."

"Friendly staff! The lobby and sitting area is beautiful. No restaurants in town except 2 Taco trucks so, have to travel to Lone Pine for restaurants. On the main highway so a little noisy. Hopefully they will finish the back yard for sitting outside and away from noise of the main highway. Try for an inside room and upstairs. Great history and old world charm. Shower works great and great bath products. Rooms simple and average size. Nice Continental breakfast."

"Gateway made us special the minute we presented at the front desk. This quaint small retro lodge with restaurant and bar is less than a mile from the entrance to Sequoia National Park. The old time charm remains. We ate at the restaurant all 3 nights of our stay. The menu is diverse, the food delicious, decor charming and the outdoor seating on the river brought the park’s beauty table side. Every staff member we encountered: waitstaff, housekeeping, bartenders and hosts were awesome and welcoming."

"This is like taking the family to summer camp, with all sorts of activities, plus meals! The detour road is a bit unnerving, but that adds to the experience! (Don't take a low-clearance car in there!)"
Cedar Grove Lodge

"It has comfortable beds and goid heater and AC. Shower had mildew and mold on the bottom of the door and around the metal frame. It looked like no one had swept under the beds for awhile. The restaurant had recently been very busy and was out of a lot of menu items while it waited for a truck to arrive. We enjoyed two Ranger talks during our visit."
