Kings Canyon National Park Holidays

My wife surprised me with a four-night stay at Murrieta Hot Springs over my birthday weekend, and it was an unforgettable experience. The highlight of our stay was our bungalow in the adults-only section. Having a private soaking tub on our patio was absolutely amazing. Being able to enjoy the therapeutic mineral hot springs in complete privacy was both relaxing and restorative. For us, that feature alone made the premium price well worth it. Because we loved our bungalow so much, we honestly didn’t spend much time exploring the rest of the resort. We soaked in a few of the public springs on our first day and spent several evenings at Gunther’s Bar & Grill. Gunther’s was a lot of fun, with great cocktails, delicious food, and outstanding service. The staff there made us feel right at home. The only downside of our stay was the customer service in other areas of the resort. While everyone we encountered was friendly enough, many staff members seemed inexperienced when it came to hospitality. When we had questions or needed help finding something, it was often difficult to get clear guidance. A little more training in guest service and communication would make a noticeable difference. Overall, though, we had a wonderful time. The setting is beautiful, the hot springs are incredibly relaxing, and our private bungalow created the perfect birthday getaway. We left feeling refreshed and restored, and we hope to return again someday.

Great little place for an SF stay. Location was perfect for us. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Not staffed at night but that wasn’t a problem for us. Will stay again!
