"We had a fantastic stay at the Martinhal in Chiado. We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment for 4 nights and the accommodation was excellent - very clean, spacious, quiet and great that the bunk beds were in the living space as opposed to the main bedroom. The breakfast was good - not as comprehensive as other hotels I've been too - but enough choice to ensure that everyone was well fed before heading out for a day tackling Lisbon's hills. "The propert was overall great the showers are way to small an I had some injuries in the shower. An don’t take the advice of the hotel to use their taxis it’s way to expensive and an Uber would take you to the back of the hotel with ease and it’s just as easy access as the front of the hotel "

"Great location in a safe area and central to restaurants, shops and local transportation. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Nice free breakfast from 7:30-10:30. My room was super clean and I had an amazing view of the city/water. There was construction across the street that was a little noisy at night but obviously that’s not the hotels fault. The elevator was hit or miss with weather it worked or not. Overall I would recommend. "
