"We stayed at this property for two nights during our trip to Thunder Bay. The room was very clean & the staff were very friendly. Breakfast is grab & go style with the exception of a make your own waffle station, which was great! Right down the road from many restaurants as well. Would stay here again when visiting town. "

"I did not actually stay at the Courthouse Hotel, but I would still like to give them a 5-star review because of their excellent customer service. A few hours before I was scheduled to arrive, I got a call from the hotel, advising my that the A/C in my room was not working and that the problem would not be resolved before I arrived. Since the forecast called for hot and humid weather, the hotel offered me a reduced rate or the option to cancel without penalty. (They could not offer me a different room as they were fully booked that night.) After conferring with my husband, we decided to cancel our reservation. I was disappointed that we could not stay at the Courthouse Hotel, but I was very grateful that they notified us proactively, so that we could make other arrangements. After such outstanding customer service, I will certainly plan to stay at the Courthouse Hotel on my next visit to Thunder Bay!"
