"This is a truly magical place. Tucked between tropical jungle and a stunning beach is a little oasis called Klong Jark Bungalows. There my husband and I became members of a family and our departure ended with tears and hugs. "Charming boutique hotel with amazing views. Within walking distance to Kantiang Beach, restaurants and shops. Front desk staff couldn’t be more accommodating. Special shout out to Auf. Breakfast staff were efficient and friendly. The only downside would be that it took a long time to get a drink from the bar. "

"The resort is beautiful at the end of the beach so it feels like a private beach for the resort. We stayed in the junior suite with a jacuzzi and it was perfect! With an amazing sea view. Staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. I will stay here when I come back and will recommend to any friends. "

"The Alama was great all around. Some hotels claim to be something they are not but the Alama was what is said to be and more. The pool was amazing. The view can’t be beat. The staff is always curious trusting and helpful. We immediately extended our stay from 2 to 5 nights and are sad to leave "

"Lovely quiet property on a great beach. Walkable to several restaurants and a lively bar with great nightly fire show next door. Great spot to "recharge" after visiting other very busy Thailand destinations. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Best stay of our trip. The resort is the best on the island as it is nice with a big white sandy Beach but also closest to the good snorkeling. The food of the restaurant was fantastic and we felt safe leaving money and Kindles and phones in our room and on the beach in the bungalows. There is not a lot of people on the island and it was really relaxing! Highly recommend it! I think the only drawback that I can think of is maybe not allowing motorbikes on the resort until 8:30 or 9:00 a.m. otherwise fantastic!"
