Central and comfortable
VERY central hotel, clean and comfortable room with all the facilities you would expect. No breakfast, but a plethora of breakfasting possibilities all within striking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

Terrific location. Very cute. Comfortable, spacious room and bathroom. The negatives: Very dark room with poor lighting. But the location, the aesthetics of the hotel and the staff make up for it!

Wonderful people, great location, but tight space
Well, firstly, the staff are awesome. Was helped to check in a little early, given a cold bottle of water while I wandered about the town and offered to store my bag. The location is perfect - right int he center of the old city, could not be better. Speaking of the location - the attached restaurant is fabulous - highly recommend the Antica Trattoria Cervetta.. warning, the cotoletta is piu grande. The decor is very cute and campy - baskets and things with cute lighting about the hotel - very quaint. Now - the criticism. My room was very small, like even for old city Italy standards. Recent stay in Florence was also a small old hotel - and you can see my review…. I understand I’m not staying at the Four Seasons or a Fairmont property. But a single bed without a side table (there was a small plank between the bed and the wall with a phone on it and a globe lamp.. no place to put a phone charger or ipad. Wifi was good - but had a passcode which wasn’t given on check-in, so be sure to get that.. otherwise, wifi worked well. Shower, again, was small, but very clean. Air conditioner laboured to keep up with the heat (this was mid-May, so deep summer, at last in that room would likely be a troppo caldo). All in all, great people, clean, if very small - and no lifts, so if like me, you had a small day pack, non problema, but if you have a suitcase, it would be a lift to the second (N.A. 3rd) floor.

Nearby the old city and charming!!
The could not have been a more convenient location to the old city center--we were steps away. Given that, please note that it has it's drawbacks, namely parking (onsite but limited) and negotiating ancient streets is a huge challenge! There was not much room to unpack or a place to store clothes. However, the hotel is as charming as it gets!! Very clean and a very functional bathroom. Most importantly, the staff were friendly, helpful and informative!! Would stay there again!!

Great Location!
Fantastic location in the historical center. Walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. Friendly staff. Nice basic room albeit a bit small. Walls a little thin. All in all would recommend! PS for those who need a covid test to return to their home country or for a green pass, there was a pharmacy around the corner - rapid test with results in 10 minutes

Nice place, very central, plenty of foods and bars around, only downside is that there is a lot of noise and the place is not quiet. But i guess that’s normal considering the location.

Location 10/10 and love this boutique property!
Amazing location 10/10 - steps away from the central market, piazza and cathedral. Great for us as we were there for only a night, so good to be so close to attractions. Clean boutique property and parking garage is just next door to the hotel. They gave good driving instructions, so kudos to that! As there’s no elevator, people with luggage should ask for low floors. Definitely highly recommended!

Lovely small hotel in the center of Modena
Excellent small hotel in the very center of Modena. You step out of the hotel and magnificent UNESCO sites are just around the corner. very clean, pleasant and excellent breakfast.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The parking for the car was a rather small space (certainly not helped by Hertz who gave us a 9 seat bus that they insisted is the same as a 7 seat car) but the staff was really really helpful in getting the car in / out of the garage which was a life saver.

This is a lovely hotel with a great atmosphere in the centre of Modena. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and the decor is cute. We would definitely stay there again ☺️

Hotel just arround the corner from the Cathedral
A small quirky hotel just arround the corner from the city / cathedral square. Location could not be more central. No lift (hotel is over 3 levels) but staff helped with luggage. Staff were excellent and the places recommend to eat provided some of the best meals I have had in Italy. A great city to visit with few other tourists. Tip - print out a map before you arrive - Google maps stuggled due to poor GPS reception (narrow streets).

Right downtown, checkout the amazing leather store at the end of the alley! Alley very tight, had to use some skills to get an SUV into the garage. Bed was very firm. My back loved it, but my wife did not. Expedia does not clarify this, but you have to pay for parking. 18 Euro is not a bad price to leave your vehicle in a locked and camera covered garage IMO. Room smelled amazing (odd comment, but it did). Good breakfast in the morning with fresh juice, coffee, and cappuccinos.

A charming boutique hotel,exceptionally well decorated, simple and functional design. We stayed on 3rd floor, camomille room . Breakfast was varied and delicious, espresso and macchiato were perfect, The hosts are welcoming and go out of their way to please. They recommended excellent restaurants and even reserved for us. The location is perfect smack in the center of old Modena. We strongly recommend this outstanding hotel!

Great staff, great location (walkable to all of the city center and to the train station to arrive/leave Modena). Breakfast was good (LOVE all the fresh fruit) and the room was comfortable. The only negative is that the walls are very thin, so I could here all the sounds of my neighboring guests. If you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs. *Also, like most of Europe, the shower is very small so larger people might not enjoy staying here for that reason. I did not have any trouble as a 5'5" woman, though.
