"Very sweet and serviceminded staff"

"Excellent location in the Alstadt area. Clean room, friendly staff and a welcome bottle of mineral water added to the stay. Comfortable beds, bright room. Very close to shops, the castle ruins and the Old Bridge."

"Great breakfast, ideal location to check out the city. Beds very comfortable."

"Very nicely furnished and clean. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was broken, so the rooms were very hot. With all the windows open to get air, the vehicle and train traffic was very loud. The walk to the city center was a bit longer than anticipated."

"Great little hotel, wonderful location within walking distance close to everything that you want to see in Heidelberg."

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Am Schloss. The staff was super helpful and location of the property was convenient to shopping and castle."

"Situated in an area close to the center but was still peaceful."

"Location, history,"

"I stayed in Heidelberg for 6 days and this is a perfect location in between tourist and local areas. Easy to access via tram/train/bus, and supermarkets and restaurants are all within walking distance. The room is in classic homey design, clean and well equipped with basic cooking equipment, also a floor fan is provided. The check-in instructions are very clear and easy, and I’m always greeted by friendly staff time to time."

"Great property with parking lot that easy to access and self park. Amazing location, walk to stores, and the castle. The castle is a 45 min walk to get to, but definitely worth it."
