"The room was very spacious and lovely, comfortable bed and enough light coming in. Comfortable sofa and chairs. Also a nice little treat in the form of 2 small kitkats and packet of chips. A friendly touch. Beautiful old world hotel but unfortunately the pool is not in action and the tennis court is dilapidated! We nevertheless had fun playing on it. Beautiful big sunny room for breakfast there. They have a library with games and some books and magazines for entertainment. There were only 2 stations however that the television would pick up ABC and SBS. So the antenna needs some work."

"We enjoyed a wintery Sunday afternoon listening to the in-house pianist. The restaurant downstairs was nice for lunch. Our room was spacious and the slippers and robes were a nice touch. Towels and linen were fresh and bathroom spotless apart from some grime and black mould in the base of the shower. Breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired and all staff very friendly and helpful. Parking was convenient and undercover. It was lovely to see kangaroos and kookaburras outside of our window."

Unfortunately, an unexpected incident occurred shortly after we checked in, and we had to leave the property on the very same day. We informed the duty staff, who handled the situation with empathy and professionalism, promptly documenting the incident and assisting us throughout the process. We subsequently requested a refund, which was approved within a few days. While our stay was unexpectedly cut short, we were genuinely grateful for how fairly and compassionately the hotel handled the situation. Their understanding and excellent customer service made a difficult experience much easier, and for that, we are truly thankful."
