"To say that our stay here was excellent is truly an understatement. Crete was more than I could have ever dreamed of, and this hotel played a huge part in that. The drive to the hotel is definitely not the easiest drive, but it is so worth it (very windy road up and down the mountain, it is all paved and there are guardrails but very little light at night). Being in the mountains and away from the city was so quiet and relaxing and the town in the area felt so authentic and non-touristy, it was exactly what we were looking for! The staff were so friendly and were always attentive and making sure we had everything we needed. The staff recommended two restaurants (they actually recommended more than two, but we were only able to try 2 of them), and they were the two best meals we had during our 2-week stay in Greece. The hotel was very clean, and the room was excellent, we were actually offered an upgrade upon arrival. The pool was so refreshing, and the bed was extremely comfortable. As for being walkable/drivable, there is a restaurant in walking distance that was amazing. And the town of Sougia is just a short 5–10-minute drive down the road and is 100% worth the short drive. Chania is about 1.5-2-hour drive, and because it is through the mountain it will take every bit of that time and be on a lookout for goats. And Heraklion is about 3.5-4-hour drive. "This place was an amazing gem. Closest hotel to the beach you will find in the area as well as most modern! I was a bit nervous of the area because everything said 2 or 3 star hotel. This should be a 4 star accommodation for sure. The views are amazing, the staff was very welcoming, and you are just a few minute walk to paradise. The design of the rooms were great and very clean, comfortable beds, and walk out balconies gave enough space for a few night space to be quite comfortable. There isn’t much in the area besides a few restaurants and the beach, which is a plus because it’s pure silence at night. If you’re looking to stay in the area, definitely stay here for its comfort and proximity to the beach. I am surprised they aren’t charging more per night."

"This is a nice, quiet, seaside hotel. You can sit outside and enjoy food from their wonderful restaurant basically on the beach the staff was really accommodating."

" The property was very nice Room was well equiped, spacious and clean We had Jr suite with a pool and a lovely garden with loungers, yavle and chairs Staff was very friendly and helpful Plenty of parking Bed, shower, furniture was comfortable = Breakfast was decent but nothing special and the same every day. - Aircon in the bedroom (upstairs) wasn't controlable. Despite a couple of attempts from staff, we either were too cold or too hot (it blew directly over the bed). - The hotel is located in a busy toad (constant traffic noise) - Sorrounding area wasn't very attractive, only few nice places to eat and drink - Falassarna beach was nice though! Note: we got lots of mosquitoe bites after sunbathing in the garden."

"Staff here are almost as lovely as the views. Breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. The bedroom was comfortable and clean, AC worked (except when you had to leave the room with the key) but the bathroom is weird with the showers allowing water to flood the floor (this is normal in Greece I think). Taxi's charge a lot to get to and from here- so book a rental! Overall- very happy with my stay and look forward to going back!"
