Although the property has been around for over 30 years, you’d never know it — the renovations completed last October completely transformed the space. The rooms are clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed. They really didn’t cut any corners with the updates, and it shows. What truly made the experience stand out, though, was the staff. Every single person I interacted with was warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. It’s rare to find that kind of consistent hospitality these days. For the price, this place was an absolute gem. "This was my second time staying at the Westin at DTW. Service was exceptional. Every employee I ran into was polite and helpful. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and comfortable here. I can't say enough about the front desk guy (wish I caught his name to give him a shout out) who helped me check in very early AM after a mishap on my end with booking online. The bed was super cozy and the room was immaculate. Would 100% stay again. "
