"I liked the size of the room. I didn’t like the old heater type (dries the air too much) or the shower design (taking a shower floods half of the bathroom area)."

"It is a bit far from the city center, located in an industrial area. I recommend that the reception staff try to speak at least one language in addition to French. Communication was very difficult, and there were many misunderstandings for both Expedia and the guests. At a minimum, English or Spanish would be helpful, as they are the two most widely spoken languages in the world. This would prevent many problems."

"We checked in at 0030 so reception was closed which was expected. The message from the hotel gave me a code to use to gain entry. At the hotel I was faced with a check in computer asking for my name and reservation number . After 20 minutes I could not find a reservation number it would accept We used the intercom to speak to someone and got the reservation number. Using this we ‘eventually ‘ got the door to open after about 5 attempts. The code sent by the hotel was infact the reservation number . A simple change in language could have assisted here . Without my message to the hotel prior to travelling this code would not have been sent or available - so despite not knowing this code was the reservation number - how are you supposed to find that out if you don’t know you need it till 0030 when you are tired and trying to check in. It was a poor check in process which even asked for around 2€ in payment and if we wanted breakfast etc . Can you imagine at 0030 if I want this - we just wanted to get to bed not be questioned A very poor system "

"Staff and room were lovely. Dinner was nice, but the drinks were very expensive (small glass of wine €10). Breakfast, for the price, (€22 each) was very average"

"When we arrived the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Directions and access to the secure parking area was easy. Lovely clean comfortable room with lots of hot water. Sébastien Lecouffe, the manager was friendly and helpful. A great stay while visiting the Lille xmas market, which was a quick 15 minute Uber journey away."

"upon arrival was told my stay was cancelled and i was supposed to receive a refund i can see this has not been done and they took my money left me stranded at night having to pay extra for a one night in a different hotel"

"L’hôtel est très bien. Seuls bémols la gestion du parking à 8 euro le 12 heures et assurance qualité au niveau du ménage… serviette manquante et une oreillée sans taie. Le quartier est peu interessant par contre à côté d’un grand centre d’achat. "
