Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife

"We had a really enjoyable stay at the Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife. Check in was quick with a genuinely friendly and helpful front desk team. We upgraded to all-inclusive and found it offered excellent value. The hotel was busy, which meant service could be a little slower at peak times, but the restaurants and overall facilities more than made up for it. The teens club was brilliant, it was air-conditioned, with a pool table, PS5s loaded with FIFA and other games, it gave the kids a welcome break from the heat (Raul was great with the kids). The pools were excellent, and the sports facilities were a real bonus. All in all, a very positive experience. We’d be happy to return."

"2nd stay and always good value for money. There is a pool towel policy which is great however there is no enforcement about it so empty loungers with towels on it for the whole day. Not essential - It would be good if the bathroom facilities could have a better tiles as the current ones feels dated and a lot of white paint stain on the tiles can be seen when doing touch up. For last to have modern appliances such air fryer like Ninja range."

"Venue is wonderful and beautiful. However, for a 5* hotel and the brand The Ritz-Carlton, it could certainly do with some improvements. 1) Pool cleanliness: the pool is very filthy. We stayed for a week ar Tivoli before coming to the Ritz. The Tivoli Hotel pool is meticulously clean. The Ritz seems to not clean their pool regularly. Very disappointing for a 5* hotel. 2) TXOKO poolside restaurant: poor quality food at horrendous prices. Dry meat, pasta with no taste, croquettes for €6 that are less than a bite. Compare this to Tivoli Hotel restaurants by Chef Olivier where they serve real tasty food. TXOKO gets 4/10 from me. 3) Breakfast: options not great, food not great quality, and staff are overworked and stressed. We were served pre-cooked cold fried eggs, and bad coffee in half filled cups from the machine. I wonder who inspected their 5* rating. 4) Lobby smells of diapers and not a great experience to be in. Most luxury hotels smell luxurious and wonderful, you would want to be in the lobby. 5) Check-in vs Check-out: totally different treatment by staff during check-in vs check-out. Both at restaurants (TXOKO) and with the bag storage in the lobby. It’s as if they know you’re about to leave so they treat you differently. Apart from the above, I think this place could be wonderful if they improved these points. Would rate this place 4.5/5* until they work on the above points."

"Breakfast buffet -amazing - large variety of foods. Rooftop adults only pool - fantastic with views of the sea.. Also great pool for adults/kids with events during the day. Location fantastic - local market opposite hotel Thursday and Saturday. Free bus to Waterparks 1 min walk. Great selection of restaurants, bars and shops on the doorstep. Would highly recommend this hotel"

"From the minute myself and husband arrived .it has been wonderful. Had a lovely surprise for my special birthday coming up with ballons and cake and cava all special.touches .in the villa on arrival.We have now extended our stay ,and we were upgraded to another villa. Well what can I.say ,I was blown away with the Duchess villa but now in a Princess villa it is just amazing. The breakfast is lovely and Dined in the restaurant 3 nights, and had room service too ,all excellent,The Meals were all delicious.A big thank you to Fiona and Carlos and staff at reception .The staff were very welcoming to.us . All the staff are a credit to the Royal.garden villas..I did not get all there names to mention. We will definitely make another trip here as we loved it so much .Thank you"

"A beautiful hotel in an amazing place Loved our stay for one night before climbing Teide My only comment would be food Provision - the restaurant is beautiful but the menu is expensive and limited. There is a cafe bar but that stops serving food at 5pm Particularly for hikers more choice at a more reasonable price (or cafe open longer) would be great"

"Stayed at Hotel Alta Montaña and it delivered exactly what you want from a mountain base. Clean, quiet, and well run. The staff are genuinely welcoming, not just polite, which makes a difference when you’re staying a few days. The views are outstanding, especially sitting above the cloud layer at around 1,400 meters. From a cycling standpoint, the location is hard to beat. You’re essentially on the climb the moment you roll out. You can head straight toward Teide or descend as far as you like and build your own climb back up. It gives you total control over your ride profile without dealing with traffic or logistics. Evenings were a standout. The chef is first-rate and the food was consistently excellent, which matters more than people think when you’re training and recovering day after day. Simple, peaceful, and perfectly positioned. I’ll be back next year."
