Staff was super welcoming. My room was clean everyday and I felt safe. I really enjoyed the ice cream stand and jerk chicken food area. Bartenders were amazing. Super relaxed and great area.

I love that one of the best beaches in Jamaica is right across the street. The people are nice and the area is live, especially when the cruise ship ports in. I can’t wait to bring my family next year.

Staff security was exceptionall ,entertainment lady was excellent,some front desk staff needs to work on how they welcome guests.staff needs to have trolley or equipment to use for carrying luggage upstairs since you guys do not have elevator,you need to think about your employees backs.Bartender that worked on Tuesday and Wednesday night was very exceptional,one negative one morning we woke up to no water not good.

Really enjoyed my solo healing trip.The staff was great. I would say this hotel need more variety of food options like Authentic Jamaican Food. Overall I had a wonderful stay and planning my return in July.

This was my 3rd time staying at Deja resort but this time I made the decision that I wont be returning. The food was mediocre , everything closed early, front desk staff is no longer 24 hours , all food and dinning options close at 10pm on the resort. So after partying at 1am I was starving with no where near by to find food.

The location and the atmosphere was great. Beautiful beaches. The hotel is dated. The mattress and pillows were terrible. Beyond firm for the mattress. My body ached every night. Would I come here again? No. Better hotel options all over. If you are on a tight budget then this place will work. If you have money to spend, I would advise booking a better hotel. Although I was satisfied with my stay.

Deja was a wonderful experience. Great location. I felt so welcome and embraced. The front desk ladies are top-tier and very professional and made my check-in and check-out experience a breeze. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this motel. It does not have the amenities of a resort and it is not family friendly. I stayed here for 6 long nights with my husband and our 7 year old daughter. There was nothing for her to do, except swim in the pool that was not cleaned nor filtered, so we did not go to the pool. The details states, there is a private beach. The beach is across the street and everyone has access to it, so it's always crowded. The property is outdated along with the rooms. The rooms are filthy, floors stained, bathroom full of soap scum and the bathtub isn't glazed which is covered with a dirty bath mat. There was no dresser to store clothes, no mini fridge and no phone to call for service. The dining area was always a wait, it's pretty small to accommodate for the amount of guests. The food was not good and there wasn't a great selection to choose from. We skipped breakfast, lunch and dinner most days. There was a grill where we ate burgers for our stay because that was the only good thing. Star bucks was across the street and they were expensive and never had a selection of anything. Our last day we ate at the beach diner and I must say, this is where we should've been eating our entire stay. You just have to pay for everything which is a bit pricey, but it's worth it. The pictures on the site are fabricated along with the positive reviews. Check youtube to view videos of any so called resort before booking and being angry!

Timmy made my experience better as he served drinks with a smile and made your stay warm and inviting... most staff look like them dont want to be there. So came off as lil rude. This has let it down as the hotel has nice location beach at the frontdoor sadly no lift and had to climb a ton off stairs. The hotel could do with more tables and chairs on the dining area, this had led to various waiting times. Also have a pool and hot tub again was a let down as the water is not clean and very merky. On a good note the entertainment is good the food is not bad although they put old food from previous sittings so not as fresh as should be the beef staion at dinner the egg staion breackfast are recommended. Over all i would stay again if they fix these problems.

Did not match any of the pictures on the site, pool was falling apart, one bath towel pre room had to ask for an extra one that we didn’t receive, not connected to the Beach have to get a pass from resort to go on the Beach, Resort did offer beach towels with a card that had a $30 fee if towel or card was not returned to them, very noisy could hear the people in the next room to me and all the traffic outside.

The hotel staff, including front desk, bar tenders, servers, hosts and cleaning staff, were welcoming and friendly. Before we were even checked in, we were offered a beverage! There was a great selection of food available for every meal, and everything I tried was delicious! Besides the dining room, there is a grill available, offering burgers, fish fritters, hot dogs, etc. We could have easily spent the entirety of our stay in the resort, but we did have the hotel help us arrange a few tours. The hotel is conveniently located near stores offering souvenirs. I recommend shopping around, as many of the stores offer the same goods at very different prices. If you are looking for swimming gear, the store on Doctor’s Beach will likely offer you the best prices. Deja offers an airport shuttle at a much cheaper price than is available online – we were charged $15 US (which covers up to 4 passengers). I was a bit disappointed that Doctor’s Beach (accessible at no extra cost to Deja guests) closes at 6:00 pm.

Cozy property meeting your basic needs, I wish it was beside the beach though. Have to go across the road to get to the beach. Also wifi was super slow and kept dropping so if you need to do a little work here and there this will be a challenge. All things considered its a good property for the price.
