The management will steal your money and jewelry. It’s not the maid, it’s a choreographed plan management has in place to steal from you while you are absent from the room - even if for only 30 minutes. I stayed one night and during breakfast management went into my room and stole a very expensive watch and €210 out of my packed luggage - probably why they don’t have functional lock boxes in their rooms. I filed a police report immediately. Beware and keep in mind that management has extra keys to the lock boxes, so even if you think you are secure by locking your valuables in a “lock box”. It’s not secure!

Need more Transportation
The only thing I didn't like was that they only have 5 taxis available in the area. The driver charged us 70 euros to go to the train station. It was a lovely place, great food in the restaurant, but nothing else around which is walking distance.

Not great, not terrible. Meh
The service is great, but few small things that are not great. First of all there is no A/C, the breakfast is ok at best, beds are not comfortable. No shower curtain in bathroom so water goes everywhere. You have to pay to use the pool, which is annoying

The hosts were super friendly and offered to extend dinner time in their restaurant when I arrived late. Also gave indications of how to move around. The hotel is 20 mins walk to Montepulciano and 25 mins walk from the bus station. It has a great pool and Spa that can be used by paying an extra fee. The rooms were ok, not super spacious, but had a small fridge and balcony.

At the begining it wasnt that great , we arrived too early around noon and they told us the room wasnt rready until 2:00 We said ok and went out to lunch when we came back at 2:30 the room wasnt ready, we had to wait for more than 1/2 hour. We went to our room and the air conditioning wasnt working they said they were sending a mechanic that never showed up, finally I told the person at the front desk that we needed another room and finally they gave us another one. after that everything was fine. Breakfast the next day was great.

Double-check your room before check-out
Two hours after checking out (and two hours' drive away) I realised I left a wine gift box (3 bottles of relatively expensive wine) in the room. After several calls to the reception and their checking the room and lost &found items, as they said, I was told there was no wine gift box anywhere. On top of that they were also trying to convince me I made up the whole story, I did not even purchase any wine, I might not be aware of what I was doing etc. - implying I was lying. Disappointed by their attitude, unprofessional! Well, I know I purchased the Pulcino Vino Nobile as a gift for my family back home, put it on the corner table in the room and regretfully forgot to pack it when I checked-out. My travel buddy witnessed the situation. The wine box could not just vanish into thin air! Whoever drank the wine, I hope they liked the choice!

Free parking. 15 mins walk to Montepulciano. The owner allow us to select the rooms. The view outside the room is magnificent. She provided us with map and local info. Opposite the street, there is a vintage bike rental company.

Quiet and close to town
Great place to stay just below montepucialo. An uphill walk but worth being away from noise. They have a great, warm, indoor pool that was needed after long walks.

Nice hotel very close to Montepulciano old town
The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The hotel has a nice view of the old town of Montepulciano where you can drive in 5 minutes. Breakfast buffet was good. Parking was easy.

A family run hotel and we felt quite happy there
The room was comfortable with a beautiful scenic view over the countryside. Breakfast was more than adequate and the personnel were very gracious and helpful at all times. We would be happy to return there at some future time.

Tatiana and her brother Massimo were extremely helpful and nice. The room was comfortable with a balcony with a superb view. Breakfast, included in the rate was outstanding. The location was 10 minute drive or 20 minute walk to Montepilciano and easy access to other towns.We highly recommend this hotel. We stayed there the third week of May 2014.

Fantastic location, great parking !
Tatiana and Massimo will make your stay memorable. The hotel bldg is new and nice. The Breakfast was perfent, great Capucino and variety of cheeses, cereals fruits... When traveling in Tuscany it is hard to find a hotel ia a town with easy parking and where you dont have to go up and down stairs and still be centrally located. Montepulciano is a great town. Great Restaurant by the hotel "Grota Restaurant" almost as good as Banfi Beds and pillows were substandard.

This hotel is family owned and run. This was evident by the fantastic service. The day we arrived there was only two other couples booked in so we were given a choice of rooms. Our room had fantastic view of the valley and town, which is only a two minute drive from the hotel. Although there was only two other couples there at the time, they did not skimp on the breakfast, there was enough food for a full hotel with an impressive variety. The nice thing about this hotel is you are supporting locals not an international chain. Do your self a favour and stay here.

The couple that run the hotel were charming and very helpful. The breakfast (included) offered an exceptional range. There is a good car park so the hotel is an ideal base. The walk into town is about 10 mins but there is a fairly steep hill towards the end. Room 14 had a balcony with a fantastic view over the Tuscany countryside. There was a little road noise, but worth it for the view.

Wonderful Hotel
The service and friendliness of the staff was exceptional. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Beautiful room with balcony providing an amazing view. Breakfast (included) was great. The only negative was that there was a kennel of some sort across the street from our balcony which had dogs barking fairly frequently. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

A Perfect Hotel in a Perfect Location
Tatiana and her brother manage this 25 room hotel located at the foot of the old city, Montepulciano and could not do more to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. If you have a car, it's minutes to reach the top of the mountain where some great sites and excellent restaurants are located. The hotel itself is fresh and new. Its rooms are excellent and have wonderful views of Montepulciano and the surrounding valley so be sure to ask for a room with a view. The back of the hotel faces a hill. Breakfast is included and contains a large variety of assorted meats, eggs, breads, cakes, yogurts, juices, cereals, and other delights. This is a great place to stay for a very reasonable cost.

a little gem!
This was a little gem of a hotel! At the foot of montepulciano and such a lovely setting. But really what made it incredible were the staff- its a family run hotel and they could not have done more for us, between sorting out dinner and dropping us to bus station- amazing!

Great Hotel, Great Location, Great Staff.
The owners were fantastic and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was typical continental with good coffee. The location is fantastic, with great views of Montepulciano, the San Biagio church and more. The hotel can provide good recommendations for places to eat and some offer guests a discount (generally 10%). All in all a great hotel, great service, would and will come back!!

The hosts at this clean, comfortable hotel were extremely helpful. They pointed us to a great restaurant for dinner and an amazing winery for a tour and tasting . Also their breakfast was wonderful!

This hotel was our favorite on our 15 day vacation in Italy. The service was AMAZING!! The staff is extremely polite, friendly, and helpful. The woman at the front desk walked us around this small hotel and showed us every open room and let us choose anything we wanted based on view or amenities. The heat pool with the view is great. And the breakfast was included and huge with a great assortment and everything fresh. We will definitely return!!

Splendid stopover
We had a one night stopover in the Alberto San Biagio, which is situated at the base of Montepulciano. The service, staff and surroundings were wonderful and the buffet breakfast was "to die for".

Albergo San Biagio in Montepulciano
This little hotel is in a great location a short distance outside the city walls of Montepulciano. The breakfast is ample and the rooms are adequate. The service is what makes this hotel special. Every time I entered the hotel I was greeted with a smile and conversation. At check in I was offered a selection of rooms to choose from. The pool is nice but the water was a little cool. I would be happy to stay there again.
