Everything is good, I was expecting a bath tub based on the photo, but it did not. Everyday without fail (I stay wed to Sat), around 5 plus to 6 plus morning, there will be some music playing non stop. It actually affect my sleep. Breakfast is average, not everyday is buffet style, but the waiter at the restaurant is friendly.

Goodhope One Day Stay

Free onsite parking , need to validate at reception before exiting it , breakfast was ok with limited choice , given the price I paid for , can't expect more than the ususal I paid for more expensive hotel

Plug not working, none of our phone got charged for the whole night. Booked a room for 3 through expedia, ended up the room did not come with extra bed. Asked the hotel staff about it and she wanted us to feedback through Expedia so they could proceed with the refund of the price difference between room for 2 and room for 3. Did contact the customer service of Expedia and they were just passing the buck. Generally a very bad experience, will not book the same property again.

The hotel is located in town area and closes to halal restaurants. Free indoor parking and have a swimming pool for kids and adult . Breakfast is simple but enough for morning start .

An okay place

It was a decent place for the price paid. Rooms were clean and well-maintained. Breakfast buffet variety could be improved. Location is quite near to paradigm mall and not too far from sutera mall. 7/11 and indian muslim restaurant in walking distance. Nothing much to complain about. But would be good if the upkeep of the pool and gym was done better.

Hotel old and tucked away approx 1km from Sutera mall. Need to take cab to get there. Room clean but toilet seat not aligned to toilet bowl. Shower room door not able to fully open, only tiny bottle of shower gel n shampoo provided for 2 and no toothbrushes provided!

it's located in a relatively old neighbourhood in JB. If you are looking for good local food within walking distance. This is definitely the hotel for you. However, if you are looking for a hotel next to a shopping mall. You might be years too late. With the price offered by the hotel, you really cannot expect much. The staff is helpful and friendly. However, there are some rooms for improvement in terms of the facilities management area. Aircon is not old at all even if the controller is showing that it is runnning at 16 degree.

HAUNTED HOTEL!!!!

Junior SUITE Room. Checked in late night close to 12. Was told by reception to wait as he needs to check whether the room is clean or not. Upon checking in, room looks awfully unpleasant, seems like the room has not been occupied for awhile with a heavy stench smell. NEVER NEVER BOOK THIS HOTEL. NOT even close to 1 star hotel. Bed was really hard/ Stuffy Room / Weird Stench / Checking in too long / Awful breakfast / Carpark was not properly lighted.

bad service. Have to send our own luggage to the room. Cannot have extra pillow or blanket. Slow check-in. Breakfast buffet doesnt have many option. Showers in pool is not working. Locked gym.
