The farm is beautiful and located about 30 minutes to Pienza. We had apartments which is very nice. The dinner is very good.

This property was absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed our time at Podere La Rocca and wished we stayed longer. The staff at the property are so welcoming and friendly. The food was also so good and the pool was an awesome extra. Hoping to be back eventually! Thanks for an awesome stay!

Perfect, beautiful and peaceful
Fantastic little place that isn’t too far from Florence and Montepulciano. Nice room with a giant claw foot tub under a window overlooking the vineyard. Have a dinner in their restaurant, it’s nice and the breakfast is good too.

I enjoyed the overall feel of the villa. My room with aprivate balcony facing the vineyard felt I was in a movie. The pool was a treat plus the on site restaurant and the wine they have to offer from their own vineyard where they have been making wine for 20 years as our server told us.

Beautiful property among the vineyards. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious! We had the chance to dine in the vineyard with the other guests. It was a memorable experience and I recommend it highly.

We had a wonderful 6-night stay at Podere Rocca. It is a perfect Tuscan countryside setting, great staff, comfortable beds and large room, beautiful pool, excellent food! Highly recommend the cooking class with Chef Federico! It is also close to the lovely town of Montepulciano, which has lots of restaurants, shopping and beautiful views. All in all a lovely stay.

My only suggestion, since there is nothing else nearby, would be to have something available between breakfast and dinner, even if it was just a vending machine for waters, soft drinks and beer. Mark

Stay was GREAT! Restaurant is a MUST!
Our stay at Podere La Rocca was fabulous! The property is located in the rolling Tuscan hills just outside Montepulciano. The property is a working farm and vineyard with an onsite restaurant and pool. Our room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was huge with a new jetted tub. We stayed on the second floor in a building with a large communal room with a fireplace. On the first floor of the same building was a rec room with a pool table. What made the stay was our experience at the restaurant. The quality of the meals and the service was above and beyond anything other dining experience in Italy, including our Michelin star dining. The food and wine pairing was excellent! If the hotel is full, be sure to eat at the restaurant and order whatever Simone recommends. It will be the best meal you have while visiting Tuscany and possibly your entire trip!

My wife and I stated at Podere La Rocca for a week in September 2022. We stayed in the Superior Apartment and had breakfast and dinner at Podere La Rocca several times during our stay. Podere La Rocca's accommodations and dining were excellent, and their website accurately describes what they offer. Staff was consistently very helpful, friendly & warm. We used Podere La Rocca as a central location to tour Southern Tuscany and Northern Umbria. The weather was too cool to use the pool.

Loved staying Podere La Rocca! Very quiet and surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. Breakfast was good and dinning was excellent. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff was attentive. Location convenient to the city of Montepulciano for day trip.

We had an excellent stay at this property. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the meals at the restaurant were delicious. The highlight of the trip was a tour of the harvest of the vineyard and a grape stomping and then we ate a four course meal in the vineyard with the owner of the vineyard and some of the harvesters. It was the highlight of our trip!

Podere La Rocca was a pleasant surprise. The farm is so beautiful, peaceful and so well The pool is amazing! The staff is nice and helpful. Mariana always made sure that we were taken care of. We had the cooking class with her husband Frederico (the chef) and it was so much fun. He was patient and made sure we understood all the steps to make a good pasta. Unforgettable time!!! Podere La Rocca is a wonderful farmhouse run by Marianna and her husband Frederico who is also the chef. Set in the Tuscan countryside, it is a perfect getaway for peace and relaxation. Being close to Montepulchiano and other hill towns means you can visit them quite easily if you wish. You will require a car. Our satnav did not get us to the farmhouse, for some reason it was not finding the address. I called up and Marianna sent one of her staff to look for us. Marianna was incredibly helpful even before we arrived by arranging some things for us via email. Before arriving I had a call to ask if we minded changing our room. She put us in a same class apartment called L'Arco without charging the additional cost of an apartment. Clean, spacious and very nicely decorated. The apartment is on the 1st floor of the main accommodation building. On entry there is a good sized diner/front room with a table for 4, a sofa and small TV, a small kitchenette with electric hob, microwave and dishes/cutlery. Past this, through the door is the spacious bedroom. Beyond this is the bathroom with shower stall and separate bath. The bath has a Jacuzzi. We ate there twice. Once from the à la carte menu - excellent. The second time was after a pasta making course with Frederico. A lot of fun, making four different styles of pasta. Frederico is patient and gave us time to make the pasta properly. After, Frederico cooked the pasta with different sauces. Highly recommended

A honeymoon dream in Tuscany
The villa is beautiful with views over their vineyards. The food is incredible and prepared in house with many local ingredients including their estate made olive oil. The buildings are stately with siena colored brick and iconic cypress trees. The heavy wood furniture is beautiful and the aesthetic .org the entire place is luxurious. We stayed two nights and wish it would have been longer. Perfect location for local wine tasting and not for to the iconic Montepulciano and the even more charming Val d’orcia. Amazing place!

Perfect Setting
The surroundings and the view are unmatched! The grounds are beautiful and the pool an idyllic place to relax. Our room was huge and beautifully appointed and given there was no one else there during our stay, we had the living room area, usually shared with another suite, to ourselves.

A Great Resort In The Country! This resort is nestled among vineyards and olive groves, is easy to get to and centrally located to many medieval towns. The staff is extremely friendly and did everything possible to make our stay a great experience. The grounds and rooms are very well kept and I cannot say enough good things about the hosts and the accommodations!

We had an exceptional and quintessential Tuscan Hotel experience!! We recommend this hotel/Agriturismo at the highest level. Podere La Rocca was remarkable at every turn. We would stay again and again with no hesitation. The high level of engagement from the staff, especially Jessica, was warm and welcoming elevating our stay above any other in recent memory!! The room was a perfect Tuscan oasis, the grounds and gardens meticulously cared for with beautiful manicured lawns, rose bushes, assorted other florals, fruit trees, olive trees and vineyards full of grapes! We are not making this up, a Tuscan garden of Eden!! The pool was pristine. The daily breakfast a feast with custom cappuccino and espresso made for us daily with care by Jessica!! We thought she ran the show but she said she just works there! She made our stay warm and welcoming and assured everything was to the highest standard!! We can only hope we are lucky enough to return here some day!!

Friendly family run old farm house with nice apartments and rooms. We stayed in one of the small apartments (kitchenette, balcony) and there were many unique items and old antique furniture in the rooms. The rooms were clean and large. The swimming pool is beautiful. The best part though, is the lovely family that operates the old farm. The older gentleman (owner) grew up there and the family clearly cares about their property and the guests' stay. Breakfasts were fun with jams and cakes made by the farm. Beautiful, relaxing, and kid friendly. Also seemed to be a nice getaway for couples. Definitely recommend this lovely place. Also, homemade wine as a welcome gift!
