"We arrived late at night and had not received entry instructions from Expedia, but the property has staff on call. Despite being 11pm they answered our call and walked us through. The staff is truly attentive and ready to provide great service. The room is small and very basic but very clean and we knew what we were booking. Also to note ... it is an old building and whoever renovate it did an amazing job at keeping the old original architectural elements. Truly BRAVO! Great price for the room. Great breakfast available upon request. "

"We were only able to stay one night, but our night at the Vallombrosa vineyard was very peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and kind and were gracious to bring me some emergency supplies. Although the property lies in a beautiful setting, it’s important to note that it takes at least 30 minutes to get to Lugano and the lake by car. I also have a couple suggestions to make the room even better: -Provide a properly functioning coffee machine (Ours only produced 1-2 tablespoons of coffee. Maybe it needed to be decalcified.) - Place a mirror and trash bin in each bedroom"
