"The room (shepherds hut) was great just the right size for two of us and the hot tub was huge. We didnโt need to ask for anything but saw the staff at the other huts and lodges cleaning etc, always very chatty when we saw them. Location was a little bit difficult to find but once there we were fine. Very close to Elan Valley and we had a view of one of the dams from out hut which was beautiful. All in all we had a great stay."

"We stayed for three nights in Snowy Lodge. Check in was easy, your keys are left in an envelope in the small reception, theres a map on the wall to tell you where to go. Take note with regards to check in and check out. Hotels.com states check in at 5 o'clock when its actually between 4 and 5 and check out at 9 when its actually 9:30 to 10. The lodge was clean and quiet with great views down the valley. Getting into the hot tub when we came back from visiting the local sites was a joy, lying...

"Delightful shepherdโs hut set in the mid-Wales countryside. Well equipped and maintained and very comfortable, it was just right for our long weekend visiting friends in the area. The bed was comfortable and the small kitchen and shower room met our needs. We benefitted from excellent weather so were able to take full advantage of the terrace which overlooked a field of buttercups and the nearby hills."

"From the minute we got there Roy (the owner) was very welcoming and had everything we could possibly need ready, there was a welcome book with all the details in waiting, and also a basket with amenities in. The hut is in an amazing location if you are wanting to explore wales like we did, or even just for relaxation. Hearing how he had built it all him self was amazing. Me and my partner are both quite tall and still had all the space we needed."

"The property was excellent, 3 good size bedrooms for a change. Although very isolated, up a very narrow track but it was worth it. I would come back again for the week with the dogs to just chill out and enjoy the peace and quiet, and the bleating sheep."

"Lovely welcome. Able to store my bicycle in a shed that was locked overnight. Good size room, and had what I needed for my stay. Good breakfast in the morning. Nice traditional pub. Owners are very friendly and I felt very welcomed whilst there."

"A quaint old fashioned inn. Amenities a bit dated but all functioning. Bath with jets was a plus. Loved the provision of bottled water and little biscuits. Breakfast was a lovely continental affair. Only downside was the winding staircases that made taking luggage up and down difficult."

"Located centrally in the town with excellent parking. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Was nice to sit outside under the beautiful wisteria and enjoy a drink in the evening sun. Brasserie food was excellent. Breakfast was really nice also. A great base for exploring."
