I loved the location and the welcome from Kim, the owner, who is always ready to do anything within reason to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
Her availability and kindness are unparalleled.
The location is wonderful, and the sunset over the lake is superb; I highly recommend it.
What I liked least was leaving, unfortunately; two days is too short in this magical place.
Room was in good condition but the wifi was out which made the check in process take longer than it should.
The room could be improved with the addition of a deadbolt or even a chain lock for more security.
The person at the check in met me in her housecoat at 8pm! That , in my opinion, was inexcusable. I was charged a fee of $4.30 bc I booked through here. The first time that ever happened . I had to call for the wifi password ,
That an envelope was left begging for a tip, I didn’t leave one. Classless to do that . And I’m fed up of leaving a tip every time you turn around. I don’t get a tip for doing my job.
The staff were smoking pot when I arrived. The hotel should be closed during renovation. I waljed out and want my money back. Expedia recommedong this place is laughable

The property is very run down on the exterior, pictures are deceiving. Room was very small. Owner was very helpful, but property needs a lot of work, especially the out side and not sure if it is in process or not?

Not worth $
Bath room door doesn't fully close. Bathroom vent screen fell off. Non carpeted floors. Bath towel had a big hole. Walls to thinI can hear person in the other room fart. Not kidding. Not worth $160.
While the location right along the water is wonderful and we commend the new(ish) owners of the motel for all the changes, they have already done, our experience was pretty mixed. First of all, we booked a basic room that is shown as coming with a Queen's size bed. It turned out that the bed was a Double, which we didn't notice until after dinner. We are both tall, so it was a bit of an adjustment. Added to that, none of the rooms advertised on Expedia come with Double beds. Second, it wasn't possible to close the bathroom door. At all. The door is old and needs to at least be sanded down. Third, the room we were staying in was what I would call half renovated, not like in the pictures. This meant that there was an unusual sink in the bathroom but the shower stall is so small, if you're not particularly skinny, it will be hard to turn around and soap up in it. It was manageable for us but might be a problem for others. When we mentioned the first two points to the owner in the morning, we were offered some snacks from the shop for the inconvenience. That is nice but not the point (they also were in disbelief that it was not a Queen, which was odd). So - buyer beware.
