"We stayed at Jackson Lake Lodge for three nights as a party of four and had a very good stay overall.
The location is excellent. Most major sights in Grand Teton National Park are within about a 30-minute drive, which made sightseeing very convenient. The lodge itself also offers beautiful Teton views, sunrise and stargazing opportunities, and wildlife viewing over Willow Flats.
Our room was clean and comfortable, with two queen beds, a bathroom, and an additional sink outside the bathroom, which was very useful for four people. The coffee maker, coffee, and tea were also appreciated during our stay.
One drawback is that the rooms do not have air conditioning. We had to keep the windows open for at least an hour before going to sleep to get enough fresh air and make the room comfortable.
We enjoyed breakfast at Pioneer Grill, which had a good variety of diner-style breakfast options. We also dined at the Mural Room. The views of the Tetons were beautiful and the food was decent, but the restaurant felt overpriced for what was served.
The biggest downside is the room rate. We paid around $522 per night including taxes, even though we booked about two to two-and-a-half months in advance. For that price, the lack of air conditioning and the overall room experience make it feel expensive.
Overall, I would rate Jackson Lake Lodge 4/5. The location, views, cleanliness, and convenience are excellent, but the high price is the main drawback."
