"Welcome snack and drink coupons were appreciated. Breakfast room and servings are better than the regular continental breakfast in other Inns. 5 min walk to shopping and restaurants. Next to the highway for quick access. Rooms close to the highway have some road noise, but it did not bother during sleeping, maybe due to drop in traffic at night. Property was nice, clean, comfortable, and convenient. Pool looked small but wasn't crowded. We preferred going to the beach than staying for the pool. "

"Everything appeared to be newly remodeled which was lovely to use! I was a little sad that the TV signal was not working so I couldn’t use it during my stay and that eventually I ran out of the complimentary body wash they provide, but still rate my experience a 5/5. Staff is friendly and the location is in great proximity to the pier! I came here for a CIF high school sports event as a youth and always wanted to visit again as an adult and was pleased to find this place at this price point. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a place to stay in the area and see myself rebooking again in the future."

"We have stayed here at the Masterpiece 3 times now... 2 in the Penthouse and this time we stayed in the hot tub room. The rooms are fantastic, clean and very nice. The hot tub was Fantastic! Its not like your normal hot tubs, no water jets and no water intake... seemed like it blew air... it was awesome! The wife and I (and we are not small folks) fell asleep together in the hot tub... it was so nice. My only gripe is that the beds are too hard. Other than that... this place is fantastic."

"Excellent location! Walkable to everything! Ann couldn’t have been nicer! As others have said, furnishings are dated, but overall still a good value. The heating and cooling system and shower were nicely updated. I suggest the carpet be updated next or changed to vinyl flooring perhaps? Would stay again. "
