Outstatinding hosts
This guest houe is perfect for short stay breaks, the location os close to the old town, and a nice mile or so walk to the centre of town, the hosts are amazig the mom and son are just a joy, they cant do enough to help you (especially with the language barriers) i genuinely cant speak highly enough of this venue, its perfect.

This was a great stay. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. My balcony overlooked the river, making for very peaceful mornings and evenings.The standout was the owner. She went to great trouble to ensure I had updated bus info as well as fresh fruit. She makes delicious Bosnian coffee as well. I was traveling in the Balkans for 5 weeks and this was by far my favorite accommodation. Highly recommend.

Amazing Stay
We loved our stay here. So quiet, comfortable and new. We were very looked after with a car spot ready for us and some drinks available in the main fridge. Quick 5 min walk to the old town. Mostar is such a pretty place and the locals so friendly and hospitable. Thank you.

Property owner was amazing. We felt like we were visiting an old loved Aunt. Very hospitable and insightful with what to see and do. Our trip would not have been the same. She treated us to Bosnian coffee . We have a friend who will be booking same trip.

Wonderful all around
Highly recommend. Very comfortable, extremely clean, and the studio unit had a great view over the river. The family is extremely kind and helpful in every way. Five minute walk to Old Town .

Great Value & close to the Old Town

One of my all-time favorites
I have visited 48 coutries and the hosts at Guest House City Star are among the best I have met anywhere in the world. Mostar is a wonderful city to visit and the staff at Guest House City Star made it extra special for me. It is a great location and an excellent value. I highly recommend this guest house.

Very good place to stay at Mostar
A simple room with spacious washroom, clean and comfortable. It is close to the old bridge. Best of all, they have parking for guest.

10 out of 10. Amazing rooms at great prices.
Fantastic accommodation within a few minutes walk to the old town at an amazing price. I cannot rate this place highly enough. The owner was so friendly, gave great advice on what there is to see and do, recommended some fantastic places to eat and drink and even let me sample some wine from their region. On top of this the room was spotless, the beds comfy and it is in a quiet area so easy to sleep. This room was such value for money and I would definitely stay here again.

Great location and better host
The apartment was great. Very spacious with a wonderful balcony. We were lucky enough to experience a thunderstorm from the balcony! Highly recommend this apartment as it is close to everything and the host is fantastic.

We had the most wonderful stay at Adnan's guesthouse. He and his family were very hospitable and helpful with everything. The location is perfect, only a very short walk to the city centre. The room is clean and very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again when we visit Mostar in the future!

Awesome place, don’t look further in Mostar
We initially drove past the hotel and stopped at a supermarket for directions, they phoned the hotel and the owners son came to meet us to show us to the correct location. It’s a family run property and they are super friendly and accommodating. It was raining when we were there and we desperately needed to do laundry. Even though the washing machine didn’t finish the cycle until 11pm the owner was happy to dry our clothes for us in their own apartment. We were given drinks on arrival and a bowl of cherries. This was the friendliest place we stayed in the Balkans- and would 100% recommend this place to other travellers. Parking is off the street and secure, and the room was incredibly clean. Love love love this place.

Location, comfort and kindness:)
My arrival time was up in the air because I was taking a bus, with multiple border crossings. So when I finally arrived, I was greeted by a young child (*I assume he is family to the hosts). He showed me to my room, was very polite and friendly. During my time, I enjoyed Mostar, despite the unfortunate weather, and had a pleasant stay. The hosts were more than kind, arranging an early morning taxi upon my departure. The room is comfortable, very clean, and has all the amenities you would need. The only imperfect issues were the unreliable wifi and poor cable connection with the tv (which I only used because of the terrible rain and weather). Otherwise, it's quite comfortable and lovely. FYI, the full size bed is two twin bed joined together, but for one person, it was plenty of space and easy to sleep in. Bathroom is a big plus--modern, clean, and more than enough hot water! Definitely recommend staying here as an alternative to anywhere in the center of the old city. It's a nice walk to the apartment and you'll enjoy having a bit of a buffer between you and the crowds!

Perfect location.
The location and accommodations were ideal and the proprietor went out of his way to be helpful. He also provided us with a history and interesting insight into the beautiful city of Mostar. I would highly recommend this apartment as an inexpensive option within 5 minutes walk of the old city.

Best place in Mostar!
This the most amazing place we stayed on our whole 6 week trip. Get the balcony room, it even better than the pictures! Our host was the nicest person. Showed us where to go for dinner..excellent choices, gave us a bag of kiwi’s from her tree and a tiny framed print of the town. The apartment was sparkly clean and such a great bed! The location is perfect! A 5-10 minute walk to the old town and she has on site parking. This the the place to stay in Mostar. We were planning to stay only one night but it was so great we stayed a second night.

Incredible place to stay!!!
Very nice place to stay and incredibly welcoming and helpful host! Our host was so nice and accommodating - even though we arrived well after midnight. She gave us recommendations and tips, the guesthouse has free parking (very difficult to find close to the center) and the room was very clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommend this place!

Great spot, warm welcome
First a warning: this isn’t Pansion City Sun near the old bridge. It’s 10 minutes further out from there by foot, but don’t let that discourage you. This is a great spot and provides a warm welcome at decent prices. I even got a free local raki alongside my coffee. Rooms were clean and serviceable. Despite problems connecting to the WiFi on my phone (fine on my laptop), I would have stayed a second night if that were possible. Nice place.

Perfect place to stay in Mostar
This hotel is one of those rare finds which impresses in all aspects. The room seemed brand new, was a fully contained unit, and beautifully located right next to the river. It was about 8 minutes walk to the old town. The best part was the host, who was very helpful and friendly. We were given beers when we arrived, grapes for our journey when we checked out and a souvenir gift. I couldn’t recommend this place more.

Truly unacceptable service from an aggressive host
The owner was not present at the checking in spite of confirming that he would wait for us. It took four phone calls to have him come over to show us the property. We waited on the street at around 9:30 in the evening. After he showed up he did not apologise. In fact, he became somewhat aggressive after we stated that we did not appreciate the wait. We ended up apologizing for mentioning that we did not appreciate waiting for over half an hour on the street for the check-in.

Zahvaljujem se gospodinu na ostavljenoj recenziji al moram napomenuti da doticni gospodin uopste nije Thomas,vec Tomislav i mislim da samo po sebi govori kakav je covjek Tomislav.Moj objekat je do sada rezervisalo preko 500 i svi su bez problema pronasli lokaciju.Jos cu napomenuti da sam upravo ja tj vlasnik otisao po doticnog gospodina,al on to nije mogao znati jer uopste nije zelio sa mnom komunicirati.Sto se tice tel poziva,komunicirao je sa mojim radnikom i dobio instrukcije da krene 100 metra naprijed i da ce vidjeti reklamu objekta na sto se je on oglusio.Posto mi se cini da je svetski covjek ne znam kako se snalazi kada dode u neku vecu metropolu i intresuje me da li tamo po njega dolaze vlasnici objekta kada zaluta. Njegova djevojka je krasna osoba i ovim putem joj saljem srdacan pozdrav

Super guesthouse near the river and old town
We were greated immediately and made to feel at home with a drink. The man at the property offered advice about the area and was very friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Walking into the main parts of the old city takes only 5-10 minutes. The hostel itself has some great views of the area as shown in these pictures. At the end, we even received a lovely gift from the man at the hotel. We were very impressed with this stay and would happily recommend to anyone traveling through!

A very clean spotless place. The room was very comfortable with a very nice bed, a/c, tv and bathroom. Edina was very welcoming and offered Bosnian coffee which was excellent. She made very good recommendations for dinner and sightseeing. I definitely recommend this place.

I loved this place. The hostess was very friendly and insisted on carrying my very heavy bag up 3 floors. She gave me a dish of local fruit, I can't remember the name but they were cherries but better than I've tasted at home. I asked about where to go buy water and she said the tap water is good but also offered and brought me some delicious juice. The room was spotless. It looks like it's just been renovated. It was nice to sit on the balcony and relax. It's a short walk to the old bridge. She also had tourist guides and info in the room which was helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place at great value
Greeted by Edina, the owner, who is very kind and attentive. She really make us feel as if we are visiting family rather than coming as tourists. This place is by the river, with garden terrace overlooking it. Really peaceful and pretty. The room is very clean, complete with basic amenities. The room and linen smell very nice. Location is good - very close to the centre, walking distance to stari most.

the best cosy guest house with the BEST service
Positives: 1) great location! minutes from Stari Most and Lucki Bridge (there is an awesome Pekara (bakery) at the other side of Lucki Bridge that sells the best Burek). (2) the owners of the Guest House - Semir and Edina - are the kindest, warmest, nicest, most hospitable and helpful people i met here. they fetched me from the bus station, Edina walked with me to the Old Town to show me around, provided comfort and recommended me restaurants without being pushy at all, so hospitable - i mentioned wanting to try Burek (a local food) and Edina offered to serve me that for breakfast the next day. They even gave me a souvenir of Mostar. the BEST service! (3) the Guest House has a courtyard that faces the beautiful Neretva river, with its amazing greenish blue waters. it would be great to hang out in summer! (4) cosy, beautiful, clean room with attached bathroom that is also spacious. everything about this Guest House is perfect. i would stay here again definitely! Negatives: NOTHING

모든게 너무 완벽한 숙소!
여긴 정말 보석같은 곳이에요. 숙소 오너분들 너무 친절하시고 환대해 주시고, 숙소 위치도 꽤 좋고 숙소 정원에서 보는 경치도 대박이에요. 진짜 아무갓도 안하고 이 숙소에서만 하루 쉬고 싶을 정도였어요. 숙소도 너무 깨끗해서 놀랐고, 모든게 너무 만족스럽고 따뜻한 곳이라서 다음에 좀 더 길게 가서 머물다 오고 싶어요.
