"Clean, comfortable hotel with Pte bath, indoor n outdoor onsens with good view of the Tone River. The daily breakfast was great, we can order western or Japanese set the day before. Dinner menu was delicious with good choices and nice presentation of the food. Dinner is about 6 courses. This hotel was only opened in Nov 22, well kept with auto checking in and checking out. They provide shuttle bus to station at 9.15/10.15 in the morning and pick up services at Jomokagen station at 14:55/15:55...

"The hotel and staff are fine. My issue was with our particular room. It had a nice modern kitchen, with walls that were red brick, two different odd wall paper, and a beach mural. The ceiling was green with pink trim. The two twin beds were mismatched in style and height. The couches and bedding sheets were dirty with stains. As I look through their advertised rooms, I don’t see pictures of our particular room."

"The hotel is located in a very beautiful area. It is an excellent place for those who enjoy snow sports. The only point that I was concerned about was the fact that at the time of checking out I was charged with hidden fees that were not made clear at the time of booking. "Everything about the accommodation was excellent, especially the staff! Despite the communication struggles, they were very helpful and provided great service during my stay. The free shuttle service to the ski resort was also extremely useful as they would drive you to your desired resort and pick you up at your specified time. "Be warned: this property is NOT in Minamiuonuma, or even very close to town. To avoid an absurd taxi fare, catch the local train to Shiozawa and arrange for the property owner to pick you up at the station. That aside, the property itself is very basic, but also charming. Owner is absolutely lovely. Location has outstanding views, and the back of the building directly faces a ski lift. As long as you're not expecting much from the place, it is more than sufficient for a quick stay."

"The guy that looked after us, Satoshi, was really nice and very accommodating- he didn't speak english and we didnt speak Japanese but we got by. It was end of season and very quiet feeling like we had the place to ourselves. It was clean and immaculate. The breakfast was beautifully presented and ample. He met uas at the station and dropped us off as well as taking us elsewhere as and when needed. A really good experience and we would return."
