The hotel even provided us with complimentary breakfast on the first day since they felt that we came early in the morning and might not be able to go out for breakfast in time. Really nice of them! The place had a very large living space with a well-stocked kitchen and utensils. Will definitely recommend this place. "Decent sized double room with AC and en suite bathroom. Meals, fruit and cups of tea and coffee provided. Friendly host who advised of the best way to get about without spending a lot and also made sandwiches to pack for travel. Location is south of the city, near the beach and 5 min walk from main railway line to Galle. There is a rooftop with views of the city skyline. Excellent value for money. Many thanks Harshi."

"I would like to strongly complain regarding the hotel accommodation which was not as advertised, nor was the photographs on your site a true reflection of the accommodation. The faults with the accommodation were as follows: The room was damp and dirty, ie. dirty walls with mold and other stains, including coffee stains etc. The sheets had cigarette burns (yet this was supposed to be a non-smoking room). The bathroom was absolutely filthy and had not been cleaned - toilet had black...
