"The beds were very comfortable and front desk staff were nice and helpful. The main lobby area is beautiful but the rest of the place is dated and not in the best repair. The elevator carpet was always dirty, the room had a musty smell (especially when you turn on the air conditioning), and there were bits of garbage left in the crack of the chair in the room + bits of food/crumbs stuck in the air conditioner. The bathroom sliding door was difficult to close and latch the lock, and you could see rust painted over on the bathroom mirror. I wouldn’t stay there again because I really thought it would be nicer but it felt like it hadn’t been kept up well and felt dirty. I’m glad I got a good nights sleep though as the beds were some of the comfiest I’ve ever had at a hotel."

"The unit was nice and clean and had the all the necessary supplies in stock. Great location, close to public transportation and very quiet."

"The hitching post is a great little motel. Its clean, quiet and well maintained for a older building. The rooms have everuthing u need. if you are checking in after 9pm, there is noone at the desk. so u get a locl box to find your key! A hot tub would be a great addition! or a badminton net or something to do on the property in summer. Close to pemberton and a great thai restaurant. I like the hitching post!"
