Highly recommended. Friendly and helpful team. The room looks over the lake and is well designed to make the most of the sunsets. Just note that it sits on a geothermal area, so you have a hot water springs and beach right in front. For winter, get the ground floor unit because it is like permanent underfloor heating! For summer, get a upper floor as it gets too warm at times on the ground.

Everything was perfect for our winter R ‘n’ R holiday at Boulevard Waters. We have shared so many favourite features of this lovely motel over the past 23 years of regular visits, but the main highlights this July were the warmth of our unit (fantastic underfloor heating), the cleanliness and perfect temperature of the mineral pool and the friendliness and helpfulness of the managers (who made us feel so welcome and valued). The property is clearly not new but it has been impeccably kept through the years. The room shows barely any age and everything works as it should. Critical appliances such as the television have been updated to wide screen smart options that are par for the course. The room is more spacious than average and the view out the balcony is excellent. Quality bedding is used and precise temperature control via an ac unit provide an excellent night's sleep

The stay was pleasant, with the highlight being waking up to a beautiful lakefront view. The atmosphere was very relaxing, making it a perfect place to unwind. Check-in and check-out were smooth and completely hassle-free.

The staff and reception are friendly. Check in is fast. We have 3 adults and 1 kid in my family. They offer us a free upgrade to a much larger and luxury room because they said the room we booked may be too small for 4 people. They are so kind and considerate.

The staff were exceptional. Great location by the lake, walkable to many eating choices.

The property is around 15 - 20 mins walk from Taupo city centre. There is a convenient store across the road, do note that the store close like 7-7.30pm. The owner is helpful and friendly to guests.
