"We came to stay here for a music festival. After the show, my girlfriend started feeling bad and had to go to the ER. Turns out she had pneumonia really bad. The room we were in was tiny and falling apart even though they claimed it was “newly renovated”. They refused to give us a different room or any kind of discount when we had to extend our stay because she was admitted to the hospital for three days. $150/night for a room that was literally falling apart- the AC didn’t work, the power outlets were not covered properly, the shower had pieces falling off, there wasn’t even a trash can in the room when we got there. Izabel at the front desk had an attitude and was not friendly. I will give credit to Robert, security supervisor, who helped me get back into the room after I lost my key at the hospital. We went to a concert at their pool and as soon as it was over they shut the pool and kicked everyone out- at 6:30pm! Honestly, my best experience of the whole trip was “Tacos Mexico” down the street and the staff at University Medical Center were awesome. Will not be coming back to the Strat. Also, as soon as I fell asleep on Sunday night 04/26/26 at 11pm the fire alarm started blaring and we had to evacuate for 30 minutes. How about some kind of compensation for all that?? "
