Great hotel
Everything was good. Quiet but central to transport links. 15 minutes walk to centre. Friendly staff. Clean. Well designed and quirky room. Felt very comfortable here

I booked this hotel due to its proximity to München Hbf train station and Marienplatz. Check-in was warm and friendly. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The room was as well. I found my room to be cold and crushingly tiny. There were only inches on either side of the big bed in which to step. The glass shower stall had nothing to block the view, which is perhaps a bit too revealing especially if the curtains are open LOL. The breakfasts were tasty and plentiful. Every member of the staff was friendly and helpful which is always nice when traveling in a foreign land.

Good location and great staff
The hotel is in a very convenient location if travelling by train, and really easy to walk to the old town. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was an unusual design with the shower and toilet sharing a door, and the shower straight on to the carpet. There were also very limited lighting around the bed. The room was comfortable, but these design features were a little odd.

New, great location
Close to main train station and restaurants. Clean and looked pretty new. Mattress could be a bit more comfortable and a real king instead of two twins, but that seems typical around the EU.

Disappointing. I was on the sixth floor, Room 655. There was water damage on the ceiling and the room smelt of chemicals. The sixth floor felt like an afterthought. A dirty bench placed on the landing on the way the stairs; the lift only goes to the fifth floor. This is supposed to be a boutique hotel. The only saving grace was that the staff were friendly and helpful.

Tiny streetside room. Nowhere to sit. No where to put your suitcase. No desk area, however tiny. Broken shower. Very disappointing.

Cozy, Conveniently Located Hotel
The hotel is in a great location. It's conveniently located to the main train station and a short walk to Karlsplatz and Marienplatz. It's tucked away off of the main street, so it was pretty quiet. The area felt safe. The room size is your standard European size, so it'll be a bit cozy. The balcony was probably my favorite part, mainly to watch to the snowfall. I didn't eat breakfast at the hotel, as I would typically grab something from the train station before my day trips, so I can't speak to that. Overall, I'd stay here again.

The hotel amenities and staff are really nice. The breakfast offered is also very good. The only bad thing about it is the area. While it is close to the main station, it is dirty and noisy. I can't say I felt safe walking around at night.

Service was the very best! However the room was really meant for one person. It does have a double bed but only one person can walk to the other side of the room at a time. Really loved the decor of the hotel and location was great!

We had a great time during our stay. The rooms are fun and funky. The staff were helpful when needed. We were at the hotel during Oktoberfest and were able to walk anywhere we needed. Not the hotels fault but there were loud noises outside and a bright light coming in our window every night which woke us up often but we managed!

In terms of being a base in the city this is great but the place has its drawbacks. Ideal for easy access to the main station. Very clean and compact room, hence the cocoon, perhaps not great if there are two of you, but nice look and with all facilities. Good walk in shower and sink (in the bedroom). Air conditioning in the room was good. Lighting in the room was truly bizarre and rather useless. No ceiling light, wardrobe area in complete darkness so impossible to see into your suitcase, but shower room was glaring with light. Reading lights over the bed only useful if you are lying down. The noise from the floor above was deafening so difficult to get a good night sleep. The guy on reception was very brusque, didn't feel confident I could have gone there if there was a problem. The area around Karlsplatz is quite dodgy at night so didn't feel that safe on my own. Would stay there again if no alternative.

Great hotel!
Booked last minute and arrived very late, midnight. Great hotel and they even emailed me to notify me that there would be someone at the front desk for my arrival. I arrived and they had everything waiting for me. Was up in my room within 2 minutes after a long day of traveling. Staff were amazing, room was very clean and comfortable. Bed was very comfy with plenty of pillows and sheets. Bathroom was clean and had several amenities. Overall amazing staycation wish I could have stayed longer.

Nice tidy place in an interesting neighbourhood
This is a perfectly fine and economical hotel. It is tidy and clean with great friendly staff. It’s very close to Munich Hbf to the south. It probably isn’t the best neighbourhood for families, with hints of red light district in the immediate vicinity.

Very eco friendly & close to the city center. Great hot water in the shower! I paid for a slightly larger room with a hanging chair, and the staff locayed me in a smaller suite, with no hanging chair. I elected not to say anything because I was only staying for 2 nights. Plus, there was not that big of a price difference. Noisy street - screaming kids throughout the day and loud drunks yelling bloody murder at night. I would not suggest staying here if you value sleep.

Room ok for individual traveler, very conveniently located close to the train station and the old town. The shower glass seal is not the greatest, so it leaks and it dampens the carpet right next to the bed. The partially open bathroom would be really awkward even for a couple. Front lobby person (male) not very nice, not sure if it was a language thing, but asking customers “What?” rather than something like “how may I help?” sounds very impolite.

Great central location to transportation hub. Room on the small side. Not sure if our room was still not completely finished. We stayed with another family. Their room had a wallpaper and a swinging reading chair. We saw a hook in our room but no chair. No wallpaper. The decor was bare- just a plain beige room. Construction around was noisy and there was scaffolding outside our window. Checking in was easy even though computer system was down. Didn’t have breakfast (€17) felt a bit steep for what the options outside can offer. Clean room. Bathroom is see thru though. If you are sharing w friends. They will see you showering!

It was clean and in a great location. However, there was no coffee in the room. The lights were on a horrible configuration - you had to have the master switch on for the bathroom area which spilled over into the bed area. The room was freezing and the heat wouldn’t go any higher. The shower/toilet facility wasn’t designed well at all which is typical for German hotels - sliding door could be in front of shower or toilet. No phone to call the front desk. It was fine for one night and the price was reasonable.

Nice hotel, interesting views!
Nice hotel with friendly staff, but caution when booking with family! Showers rooms have glass panel wall which means anyone in shower can be viewed from the room, ok if uou are travelling with a 'hot' partner, not so good to travel with a teenage daughter! Staff very helpful and accommodating and went out of their way to find an alternative solution.
