Great place for a stay in Munich. It is small but very efficient use of space in the rooms, with a very interesting shower/toilet situation but overall it was fine. Checkin and checkout were easy and prices were great. They do have parking but it is a very tight spot so if you have a larger SUV you might struggle getting the car in and out of the spots..

Nice clean and modern hotel with great staff. I stayed in a balcony room with a great bed and sofa. The room did not have a fridge or tea and coffee facilities so factor these in to any value equation. There is a laundromat within 300metres walk

I would stay here again and again. Love that it is just 3 stops away from Marienplatz. The hotel is also surrounded by restaurants! Highly recommend this hotel.

Great location close to the center for Munich. Clean hotel and the staff was very nice and helpful. They have parking on site for 18€ however it is very compact and tight!

The hotel is well appointed, clean, and conveniently located for a fair price. The breakfast buffet is worth a try, especially if you're hungry and want a quick and big breakfast.

Nice room has a comfortable bed. The murals of art works in the hotel and room are intriguing and lend to the overall ambiance of the place. Staff was friendly and helpful. The swinging dual shower and toilet door is unique. Make sure to close the door all the vway when showering. Overall, a nice place in München (Munich).

Comfortable Stay

We had an awesome stay here at the Hotel Gio. It is in a quiet area which is good but also very close to transportation and Marienplatz. The room is clean and comfortable with air-conditioning. Housekeeping is on request but free. Toby at the front desk was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful! His positive attitude definitely gave an overall great impression of the hotel and definitely rebooking if we go back to Munich.

I was very disappointed with this hotel. Firstly, it is very dirty. Dirty sofas and floors. And mouldy walls. I couldn't even sit on the sofa. I thought it was just the standard of the hotel for this price and I didn't realise it was the low standard of this hotel until I stayed in another hotel the next day for the same price. Secondly, they had a car park but when I arrived at 3 they said the car park was gone. I needed street parking and street parking can't be parked nearby, you need to cross another street. Also, street parking only accepts coins. But they didn't have any coins. I ended up parking on the street ten minutes away. I spent a lot of time changing coins just to park. Anyway, if you like clean rooms. You will be very disappointed with this hotel.

Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Staying over Oktoberfest it was very convenient to the festival grounds. If anything it gets a little noisy at night due to Oktoberfest and people coming back late.

Leider war unser Aufenthalt von Anfang an nicht gut. Obwohl ich einen Parkplatz reserviert hatte - leider habe ich zu spät gesehen, dass die Anfrage ignoriert wurde - waren alle Parkplätze vergeben. Die Aussage, dass gerade viele mit Auto anreisten und einer halt Pech hat, hat das CheckIn-Erlebnis auf eine neue Stufe gehoben... Auch, dass meine Anfrage ignoriert wurde, sei angeblich ungewöhnlich da immer geantwortet wird. Angeblich sei auch ein Platz reserviert gewesen, der sei aber dann einfach jemand anderes gegeben worden. So mussten wir in einem Parkhaus, 20 Minuten zu Fuß um 35€ pro Nacht parken. Immerhin konnten wir am nächsten Tag das Auto in der Tiefgarage platzieren, was jedoch einem Abenteuer glich. Sehr steile Abfahrten und defekte Liftrampen ließen ein ungutes Gefühl nach dem Abstellen. Das Zimmer selbst war auch nicht gerade sauber. Das Bettlaken hatte diverse Flecken, was uns leider erst nach Schließung der Rezeption auffiehl. In Zukunft werden wir definitiv ein anderes Hotel eher außerhalb nehmen und lieber nach München hineinpendeln. Ohne den Tiefgaragenplatz hätten wir das Hotel nie gebucht.

Ein zweites Mal dort übernachtet und wieder einmal sehr zufrieden mit den Örtlichkeiten, Zimmer, Bad und Bett und vor allem dem freundlichen Personal. Sonderwünsche werden anstandslos sofort erfüllt. Ein tolles Hotel mitten im Zentrum von München.
