This property is just a few blocks from a s-bahn stop as well as only 10-15 minutes of walking from lots of tourist spots. We enjoyed our stay. Didn't love the bathtub with no shower curtain but otherwise the room was great.

There was a parking right next door, got validation from hotel and it was free. All I paid was about €100 for one night. Plenty of scooters outside, to be able to get around and explore. It was a solid location for me maybe not in central area of everything, but for the price, it was a good deal. Some places in Europe I have to pay for both the hotel and parking, so it was a solid deal, stay, and location.

The hotel was tidy and clean, and had a world-class breakfast, and the front desk staff in the morning (I did not get his name, but he had blond hair and the biggest Barvarian smile you could imagine). He was funny, kind and so helpful. I would definitely stay again.

Misleading room photos, old carpet with smell
Unfortunately, my husband and I had a regretful experience with the hotel. When we booked, we saw the room pictures of the smart TV with quite a few nice media platforms available, like youtube and Netflix, we thought that could be a relaxing place for us to stay. However, after we got in the room, it was nothing like that. The TV only had a few basic cable channels, and the carpet looked old and smelled not good. We immediately decided to check out without touching or using anything in the room, and told the front desk the reason we left. At the time, the lady at front desk was very understanding and asked us to cancel the stay on Hotel.com to get refund back. However, when we actually did that, the manager declined my request. Very unpleasant experience for sure.

Dear Xue, thank you for your review. I have to inform you that I did never get a cancellation request from hotels.com. If you received a decline message it was from hotels.com and not from our side. Please also note that on our website it is mentioned that the pictures are only an example as not all rooms look the same. We have checked the carpet it does not smell. It would have been a suprise as we clean our carpets very properly and on regular bases. We would also like to inform you that you have booked our "non-refundable rate". Since you decided to write a bad review instead of contacting the hotel management we kindly decline your request for a refund. Thank you and kind regards

The location is great for exploring the old city of Munich. Everything is walkable and there are plenty of places to get a good meal close by. The rooms are clean and well looked after. I really dislike the bedding that just has a duvet and nothing is tucked in but that is my peeve, nothing to do with the hotel. All in all I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks to all the friendly staff for making this a good stay.

This is a family run hotel which is in a good position within Munich, however, it’s a little dated. The bathroom is small and poorly laid out, there should be a shower where the bath is, it’s an accident waiting to happen. As it is, the shower over the bath sprays out water, so we asked for more towels. We were asked to collect the towels from reception and then asked how many towels we had, my partner replied, ‘not enough’. When the room was serviced the next day, the extra 2 towels we were given were removed! Ridiculous! Not the kind of service I would expect.

The property is in a great location, comfortable, and the staff are extremely helpful. It is in walking distance to Marienplatz and tons of great restaurants and shopping. The elevator is spacious.

Staff exceptionally charming and helpful. Room and en-suite very clean. Ample choice at breakfast. Easy reach of S Bahn station. The hotel is an excellent choice.Many restaurants within walking distance. No grumbles !

Clean, comfortable rom. Loved having the balcony. Excellent location. Delicious buffet breakfast included a tasty, fresh and varied selection of food. The gym could use a mat, and some new free weights.

A very nice room for the price in a central, convenient location. Management and staff were exceptional! Very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was really good. It exceeded my expectations by far. I will definitely stay at this hotel again the next time I visit Munich.

Very comfortable, reasonably priced hotel a ten minute walk to the Marienplatz. Also right by the Isartor Sbahn stop with a direct train to/from the airport. Quiet at night, nice sized room, very clean, excellent buffet breakfast. Overall a great place to stay and we would stay here again when next in Munich.

The Hotel is very close to the Christmas market, just 8 minutes walk. Breakfast was continental, with lots if choice. The room was spacious and clean. When i asked for additional pillows, i got them swiftly. They managed to get me a table at a local Bavarian restaurant that was fully booked. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you to Wolfgang who ensured I had everything I needed.

First room were given was very nice but next to a group of men who were very, very noisy and loud. We were switched to another room which was smaller but quiet. We were charged the full price of the larger room. Breakfast was nowhere near the quality of our stay in Prague or assay. Very disappointing -- no hot items in breakfast all besides coffee or tea.

We are sorry we can not offer hot items for breakfast but we only have a very small kitchen not made for "cooking". Also the space on our buffet is too little to add hot items. Room was clean and big enough, free breakfast was good. The location is walking distance to the main attractions but was un a seedy part of town, ie broken beer nottles and vomit on the street. But the hotel did have an elevator, which was nice.

Only on weekends we have the young "party crowd" on the streets at night and sometimes they had one too many...
