"Nicely located, right on the beach and with a nice pool. An easy 15 min stroll along the beach to the centre of Santa Maria. Rooms were clean and spacious and well re-stocked each day, including with lots of bottles of water (this is necessary: don’t use the tap water!). Staff were very helpful in arranging transfers to and from the airport."

"I unfortunately landed during the storm so the hotel was flooded and the room too in the end but I was able to be moved to a floor up. Following this my stay was very pleasant. Staff were very helpful. Food was good and very good location to beach and shops. They cleared the water quickly and fixed the hotel up in no time. I think I was quite unlucky to land on that day but they deffo made up for it during the stay. Rooms are a bit dated but that gave it character."

"I could not praise the staff enough at this hotel - they are all so friendly, helpful and super attentive. The food options were excellent and the buffet meals changed daily (with a few consistent staples. Whilst I agree with some reviews that the rooms are a bit outdated - they were always cleaned properly. The rest of the hotel was not outdated (and who spends enough time in the hotel room to care about it being outdated) and had a good blend of natural elements to make every part of the hotel enjoyable. Would definitely recommend this hotel. "
