The staff at Palm City Motel in Napier were very nice and very accommodating. Unfortunately the room we were in had an odd and unpleasant smell and the main room only had very bright ceiling lights. Not the most comfortable room.

No fuss late check in. Felt safe. Very clean. Everything you need. Great option as had a hire car, so easy to park and short walk to centre.

Good location, clean and tidy, friendly owners. Wifi was intermittent - this is the only improvement I'd suggest.

Good location, the fridge froze our food which was very frustrating and the shower pressure was low. I have stayed here a few times before and it was much better.

Not worth the money
The receptionist was really nice, otherwise the room smelled like a funeral home, looked like it was built 50 years ago, a few bugs here and there and the bed was super uncomfortable. Positive points for extra blankets. I paid way too much money for what I got.

Can hear a lot of noise from the guests next door can hear people going up and down the stairs The wifi hardly worked I would stay again but not book the family unit due to the noise

Great property, conveniently located and was easy to find. Stayed in the 2bdrm apartment - room was clean and tidy and was so spacious for my family. Allocated parking meant that I could park in front of the room, check in and check out was a breeze.

That there was a aircon in the lounge which then cooled the unit and I didn't like set up of jacuzzi in upstairs bathroom which was without a shower on a felxible hose to use after the Jacuzzi or to use the tub as a shower tub upsatirs

Good location but property is tired n parking is very tight with everyone driving large vehicles. The room was clean n tidy but a very stale smell n had to leave windows open.

Palm City Motor Inn was clean and tidy with a well-stocked kitchen. Heating was good on both floors and it was quiet and had good parking. Staff were polite.

We had a 2 bedroom property for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. It was the biggest motel space we have ever stayed in! Lots of space with upstairs/downstairs living and 2 bathrooms. Staff friendly and accommodating. Pool looked lovely although we didn't try it due to very cold outside air temp. during our stay. Walkable to local amenities at Marewa shopping centre.
