"I think some thought went into the design of the hotel but the day-to-day operation lets it down completely. Front door doesn’t lock properly, looks like was forced open. Air conditioning doesn’t work, sink leaks and drains onto the floor. No soap in shower. Drapes so close to sink that they get wet every time. Dead insects in drapes and windows. "Large room. Restaurant was fully booked, when I checked in, which was disappointing. I have stayed here before and it was the main reason for booking. It is about 4 1/2 hours from the Mediterranean Sea, and is a handy break on the drive up or down from the boat. There is a large car park. Anyway There is a Pizzeria across the car park which seems to be part of another hotel, Campanile, which seems to be a sister hotel. I had a Pizza, which was fine, but in France, I don't really want Italian food. I have now checked and there other restaurants nearby that were not recommended by team members, and on this search, I have now also noticed multiple other chain hotels nearby and several restaurants. Breakfast was fine, but the coach passengers that were there seem to think I was an inconvenience having a breakfast that I had paid for, and some of them were extremely rude. I would have mentioned all of this at checkout, however the team member at checkout did not seem that interested in conversing, so I left the key and went on my way. Anyway, next time I am passing, I will widen my search and probably stay elsewhere."
