Good place, scammy service.
The room was nice and clean. However the receptionist was not honest with the charges upfront. Note to others if they offer to cook dinner, they will charge a steep price. The terrace in which we were told to eat at also does not have adequate lighting. It was a mistake to have dinner here. Whilst we have our hot air balloon booking deposit with him, he has taken some of it for the dinner charges. The breakfast was also subpar. He made 1 plate of eggs for 5 adults and have the gall to charge extra when we asked for another plate. I would recommend staying here but you should always double check if anything you ask for or offered by the receptionist costs extra, as he will not be upfront about it. Overall terrible experience for us.

Super friendly staff. Excellent heat and hot water. Great views from the windows and top floor outdoor lounge area. Close to everything. Great value for price. Best hotel dog ever! Bed was a little hard and I needed another blanket. There ought to be an extra in the room.

Unique Experience. Fantastic hosts & location
It was a unique experience staying in a cave hotel. The place and its surroundings are beautiful. Walkable distance to good restaurants and shopping areas. The hosts Esma and her husband are very warm and hospitable. They serve a delicious set breakfast but if you need more they are eager to serve you. Don’t miss the freshly prepared Gozleme. You can also pluck grapes in the open air dinning area just above your dining table. There is open parking in front of the hotel. They can arrange City tours and Hotair balloon tours if you tell them in advance as sometimes the tours can get full depending on season if you try booking the earlier day

It needs a lot of maintenance and improvements in the facilities: broken furniture, exposed electricity cables, cat poops on the terrace, poorly installed handrails with possible risk of accidents, water leaks from the shower, few electrical connections, there is no TV in some of the rooms.

The worse experience of my entire life. There were no lights and was raining, to get to the room we had to go thru the stairways with no light, as a result, I failed and hurt my foot. The room was extremely dirty and mildew smell. We left the next day. The receptionist did not even used a lantern. If you do not want to ruin your trip, do not stay there.

You did not want to stay in your normal booked room, so we gave you a larger room. The lighting of the hotel is weak, typical of the region. You went out on the second day by yourself. There is no smell other than the smell of the cave in any of our rooms. Since you made your reservation without a refund, Expedia did not refund your money, but we approved it. If you had received the second day's wages, you would not have written these.Best RegardsEmrah VAROL

Amazing Unicorn Hotel
Our first impression of our room was Wow... set inside a cave, which made it cool inside... The lad running the place was a very pleasant, well mannered and would do anything to please. Breakfast was a beautiful Turkish breakfast, which was plentiful. The views from the roof top terrace were out of this world.. The hotel itself is close to bars, shops and restaurants in Goreme.

our stay in capadocia was amazing, the hotel is located near to stores and restaurants, with amazing views in the roof and have the literal experience of sleeping comfortable in a cave, have good rooms and very clean, the services was amazing always very kind and attentive and the breakfast was very good, also took the tours with them and was very good.

A new hotel with well equipped facilities including the hot water shower. They provide a fabulous breakfast with a nice open view. Staff are very helpful and friendly and they helped arrange the transportation. Definitely this hotel is the most value for money in the town city.

Excellent hotel!
Everything about this hotel is great and especially the staff member and owner of the hotel have great hospitality and gave us brilliant experience. The location of the hotel is situated 2 minutes from the main town centre for food and drinks and there is a balacony on the top of the hotel where you can see the hot air baloon early morning. I reccomend this hotel to anyone at great price, great location and great staff members!

Was in contact with the hotel weeks before arriving was supposed to have a shuttle arranged hotel stopped responding via email. Had no ride upon arrival at the airport. Got to the hotel early morning was totally closed when online it says 24 hour check in. Called hotel rep they left us out in the cold. Had to ride around with a taxi to find another hotel. When i finally checked in customer service was bad seemed indifferent to my concerns of what happened. Refused a refund. Hotel was not as described in many aspects dont know how this hotel is rated so highly. The only goods were Hotel rep the morning of checkout was better and tried to be hospitable. And the area of hotel. But i wouldnt recommend and would look elsewhere.

A hottible experince
Booking this hotel was the most horrible experince. Couldnt travel on booked dates due to illness and called up the hotel and asked if they can cancel the booking., They said they cant cancel the booking but can do a date change. So changed the date and got an email with new dates. When my family arrived at the hotel, they were informed that they can not see the new dates in the booking and the booking date has already passed, Infact they had sold the room and my 70 years old uncle and aunt had no place to stay and it was already midnight . Had to book a room in a nearby hotel at double the rate eventually.

Adorable property with a family feel. Our room was basic but functional. The shower was amazing! Our only complaint was that the mattress was uncomfortable and old. The staff were super helpful helping us organize transportation and tours. Other than the bed it was great! Would totally recommend.

Can’t Get Much Better
Wonderfully stay here. We only stayed one night but could have been there a week and enjoyed it. One of the best breakfasts we’ve had and the owner was so accommodating and helpful, even doing our laundry at no extra charge. 2 minute walk to the main strip of shops and restaurants. Definitely recommend staying here.

Emrah, the manager, was extremely helpful and friendly. He and the rest of the staff made sure we had everything we needed. He helped book our tours, balloon ride, and airport transfer. Breakfast was a variety of options including cheese, fruits, eggs, bread, jam, tea, and coffee. Staying in a cave was an awesome experience. The location was less than a block off of the main street. Easily walkable to anywhere in town. The room had all the basics. The bathroom is a little different with the shower not having a separate enclosure, the shower drain is in the floor by the toilet. It's just part of the cave dwelling experience.

The hotel rooms are carved into giant rocks (fairy chimneys) and have cavities for shelves and seating. The rooms and the hotel was really nice, the dining room placed on ground floor used to be a barn and you can see the traces of it on the walls. It was a unique experience and we were hosted by the warm hearted owner.

Great stay
The owner of this hotel was really nice, very helpful, called the tour companies for me etc. The hotel is in an ideal location. - short walk (only a couple minutes) to get to the Main Street with all the restaurants and shops. The breakfast was really nice, some breads and pastries, fruit, vegetables, cheeses and jams etc. From the roof there is an amazing view of the city! There are a lot of stairs though, and they’re a bit steep. So would not recommend staying here if stairs are an issue, or would check with them to make sure you got a ground floor room.

Bathroom shower was broken and drainage was plugged, went to told the receptionist, he was laying on sofa and talking with someone, and told me to wait for 10 min. I told him we need to take shower and sleep he switched room. In new room refrigerator was stinking. In the morning another guy who was probably the owner ask me to pay for broken shower and blame us for plugging as well as ask me to pay extra for another room. Tottallu unprofessionalism While i told him all facts he said he is new only been 6 months in business and apologize to me.

Dear Arshad You was broken shower becouse before you came we are control your room everything was solid and your wife hair bloked shower but not important for me important point you made them to change the room for free. you are rezerved cheapest twin bad room but you dont like this room later you want delüxe cave room twinroom 200tl delüxe cave room 400tl but you want give me 50tl this very funny. you tell me shower problem ı dont want shower price and dont pay me deluxe cave room extra prace you pay me 200tl you stayed delüxe cave room and dont pay me shower price and very rude tolk to me please tell the truth. A nice cave hotel, 5 minute walk to the center street of Göreme. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was average good. The cave room had nice ambiance but slightly less comfort and space compared to the regular rooms. The bathroom was average, the hot water could have been hotter.

Nice hotel
We enjoyed our stay at the Unicorn Cave Hotel. It was close to the main street and so we could quickly get to restaurants. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice, but a bit on the small side. The roof terrace provided good views of the balloons. Please note that you should try to book a balloon ride before you get there, as we were unable to book one during our 2 days there, even with the hotel's assistance.

This cave hotel was an amazing experience for my family! We are a family of 4 (with teenager girls), who stayed in a large cave room with 1 double bed and 3 twin beds. The room was simple, but lovely and very spacious too! The temperature in the cave room was perfectly cool, even in the middle of the summer. The breakfast was such a special treat — fresh and tasty food, including a homemade Turkish dish prepared by the owner himself :)

Amazing stay at unicorn cave hotel
Amazing location, near the center the the breath taking point views. The owner is super friendly and helpful. Rooms are very nice and clean. Wifi works very well. Breakfast is a wonderful feast. I would stay here again! :)

It is a brand new establishment. The owner and other worker were eager to make sure we were comfortable. We had a problem with our light in the bathroom and were immediately given an upgraded room, no questions asked. Breakfast is good. This is a good place to stay if you want the cave experience without the dampness and the dirt.
