The property is close to the 42nd Subway Station. The staff is super amicable and educated. The room is equipped with a full kitchen and the bed is super comfortable. The bathroom was fully equipped with Dove hand wash, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. Everything was very clean. Free of noise during the night. I stayed on floor 10th. On the other hand, I faced several situations upon arrival, the toaster was damaged (they happily replaced it with another one). Also, the toilet paper holder was broken, and the bathtub did not drain water appropriately. The technician failed to resolve the issue despite scheduling multiple appointments to fix it. Thus, I agreed to remain as it was, because I did not want to hold my schedule due to these inconveniences. Overall, my stay was good. Although, I consider it was overpriced compared to amenities.

The suite was well equipped and in good order. The furniture looked fairly new. What makes this hotel outstanding for an extended (I.e. more than 3 days is its well equipped kitchen and its location walking distance to Central Park, Pier 79/ Ferry, Times Square, the High Line etc. The only improvement I would like to see is there air conditioning control. It’s an On/Off approach with no fan control. Our unit would only accept 72 F.

From the start the folks at Candlewood put us at our ease. It was a very relaxed experience. They were always happy to help. The rooms at the hotel included kitchen facilities , which we didn't use , but which could be helpful for others. The bed was very confortable and the bathroom very clean and everything worked. My daughter used the gym at the hotel and said it met her needs. The location is good for Penn, MSG and not far from here to a variety of other destinations by subway. Would definitely stay again.
