Our stay was average. Dirty dishes were left for days without replacement of clean ones. It was annoying that wifi continuously wouldn’t work every night/run out of data although staff were extremely lovely and sorted new modems when asked. It was gross that there was no mattress protector on the beds. You can’t wash a mattress regularly like you can with a protector so felt yuck, especially being a hotel with different people sleeping in the beds regularly. Very disappointing that make-up went missing from my toilet bag. The fridge froze all of our food and drinks so it might need to be turned down so other guests don’t have this issue. Apart from these issues, staff at reception were very lovely, friendly, approachable and accommodating. I don’t have a bad thing to say about them.

While the property isn't the cleanest for a 4 star hotel, the convenience of having central station just a 5 minute walk away and having so many convenience stores around the corner makes up for it.

There are no surprises at this hotel. It simply does what it appears likely to do. It is a well located, mid-range hotel at the Chinatown end of the Sydney CBD. And it is also walking distance from Central Station. It is comfortable, but it is not a luxury venue. Also, as a clear plus, its reasonable pricing reflects its unassuming status. In summary, Hotel Marlow is very good value for money.
