We loved our stay at Kimpton Ashbel Park Avenue. The staff especially was a highlight - everyone was friendly, accommodating, and very helpful. Location was ideal, room was clean & well appointed, and the lobby was a great spot for our group to gather for morning coffee or an afternoon game of chess between city adventures. Would gladly return for future stays!

It’s an older hotel that got a cosmetic renovation by The Kimpton. Building still has elements of an older hotel. Falls into the stereotypical NYC hotel category - elevators are slow and room very small. The staff are super nice and helpful. I really appreciate how housekeeping was prompt and efficient every day. Nice convenient area without being in the middle of midtown.
