The staff at this hotel are all outstanding and very responsive to customer needs. Great breakfast - they also ensured that my food intolerances were responded to. Whilst the rooms are slightly dated they are extremely clean and the kitchen facilities are a big bonus.

The hotel was clean and the free breakfast was a bonus! But the bed was old and lumpy and the TV apps didn’t all work which was frustrating.

The hotel is within walking distance to a lot. The room was very clean. Housekeeping came every other day. However there is construction going on, on the outside of building and we were unlucky and had them on our non assessable patio making loud noise. We would come back to the room for a mid day nap but it was impossible to nap because they were right on our windows making a ton of noise. Not sure why the hotel put people in the room they are doing construction on directly on the other side of the bedroom window. The bath water also came out yellow, so had to bathe my kids in yellow water.

Amazing stay for one week in NYC. The staff at the Residence Inn Midtown East are TOP NOTCH, every one of them. We lacked for nothing. Thank you all. The location is convenient for walking and taking the subway system. We will be back!

Safe convenient and quiet. It worked out well for our family. The bed and sheets were sketchy and they didn’t clean the rooms when they said they would. Bed was kinda shady and the pillows were foul.

This is a great hotel in the perfect location and walking distance to Central Park, Grand Central station for using the subway to get around. Breakfast is fine given it is included, might be nice to include some more fresh items, we had cold tomatoes one morning which given we aren’t sweet/pastry people we enjoyed. Thoroughly recommend if visiting NYC

We enjoyed a lovely stay at the Residence Inn Midtown East in April 2024. I traveled with my wife as well as my 11 year-old son and 74 year-old mother. We had a double room with was spacious enough for all of us. We were very pleased with the kitchenette with full refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and dishwasher. It was also equipped with a stovetop hob and cooking utensils, which we did not use. The staff at the hotel was fantastic. Everyone from the front desk team, breakfast and kitchen staff, housekeeping and bellhops, was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The quality and variety of the daily breakfast buffet were superb. We also made use of the guest laundry in the basement, which was very convenient. The location in Midtown Manhattan is very close to Grand Central Station, St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Rockefeller Center. We used the subway and Uber to get around and there are several stations on Lexington Avenue to easily access the trains from the hotel. There is a supermarket one block east on the corner of Second Avenue and 48th Street, where we purchased fresh fruit and bread to keep in the room. The hotel is also close to many restaurants for lunch and dinner. I would definitely stay at this property again on my next visit to New York and have no hesitation on recommending to anyone.

Excellent hotel - highly recommended for family stay in midtown. It’s one of the few midtown hotels with apartment style suites - with a separate living room and bedroom. The location was great and easily walkable to several subway lines. Good hot breakfast included. Clean and spacious rooms (specially for NYC standards). Highly recommended.

The staff is just amazing at this property. We had a great checkin with a room given to us at 9am when we got there. The staff is always courteous and they take care of you. The location is also amazing with some top attractions in walking distance. We also enjoyed the breakfast everyday.

I spent a 6 night stay at the Residence Inn Manhattan/Midtown with my family of 4. My children are 13 and 15. It was perfect for us. Breakfast changes daily but fruit, bread, pastries, oatmeal and waffles are a constant. It really made things easier not t to have the go out to eat first thing every day. With that being said, there are places to get breakfast nearby. Anyway, the breakfast staff is very prompt and courteous. Our room was comfortable. It was tea nice having a kitchenette as well. Having a 15 year old son leads to some late night hunger attacks. It was great having a refrigerator and freezer. We bought a few frozen items that he could “cook” late night! Check in and out were really easy and the front desk staff was helpful with everything from what subway to take to holding our luggage for a couple hours so that we could see one more sight before leaving. The laundry room was also very helpful mid trip!
