Excellent location, clean rooms, helpful and friendly staff, good air conditioning. This is a basic sleeping room and nothing fancy. The location is good. Staff were friendly and helped me when requested. They also carried my luggage up to the room and back down. The stairs are steep and narrow

Cons: Dated property, cash only, had to buy shower cleaner because the shower head was COVERED in mildew, tiny shower. Neutral: FIRM beds, basic room. Pros: Location Location Location! Near subway stations and great restaurants, air conditioning worked great, room was quiet, free suitcase storage.

Such great staff! They were so nice demand so conversationalist, they made us feel so welcomed and genuinely a great experience with them. Would recommend them again and we had an amazing time!

Great location , good price , close to subway stations and plenty of bars and stores. Cash only tho, but a chase around the corner . Stairs only. No fridge in room , window unit a/c is kinda loud but we got used to it.

The room was adequate for the price. I did miss not having refrigerator, microwave and coffee in the room. I found the price of coffee,and food very expensive in NY. All in all it was still good for the price and in a good location.

The stay was super lovely and super central to everything literally the perfect location and the staff was super nice and helpful, we had a early flight and a late flight and they let us store our luggage’s in the meantime I would 100% stay here again.

Even though it is an older property and I had some reservations about staying there, it met my expectations. It was always clean; towels were changed and the room was cleaned daily. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was central and convenient for getting around. There was hot water with good pressure. Air conditioning. I would stay there again.

The location is PERFECT and the staff is generally friendly and helpful. However, it's a simple hotel. Do not expect it to be a 4 or 5 star place and you'll be fine. Rooms can be noisy sometimes because of the A/C and restrooms, especially during night when the place is quieter. That's the only thing that bothered me while trying to have a good sleep. Apart from that, I enjoyed my time there.

I absolutely love this hidden gem! It’s an older hotel but the staff were so helpful. They checked our bags when we arrived early and held them the day we were leaving so we could do I bit more exploring before we left. The room had 2 beds and 2 bathrooms! Perfect for my friend’s first trip to NYC. Perfect for me whenever I come back. I love the location and the neighborhood. The food at Rays was great and Mc Sorely’s is right around the block. The neighborhood becomes absolutely energetic at night. 10/10 will stay here again. 5 stars. I would give more if I could.
