"Check in staff was not interested, pointed to the lift but gave no instructions to get to room.
Under beds had not been cleaned for some time!
No instructions for coffee maker.
Lady at checkout was much more friendly and helpful, and if you don't mind the lack of vacuuming and going elsewhere for coffee, it's a great location and cheap."
"I paid for a superior room with king bed with the photo clearly showing a desk and chair. My room did not have any desk or chair. Only 2 of the 4 elevators worked when I checked in, with no apparent effort to fix the others. On my last day, only one elevator worked while hordes of people were waiting on every floor to go down, including many with luggage. We had to ride all the way up to the top on the sole working elevator to make sure we could squeeze in as there was no other way to make it down from floor 23 with our luggage."
"We liked the central location to most of the activities we hoped to enjoy. The stay would have been better if we had access to water. The two water bottles were not generous enough. We could only find one water fountain in the building and it was not working for us to refill the water bottles. Please fix the water fountain."
"This hotel is a New York Landmark with a great location. But be weary of the room size. We got an “upgrade” to a queen size room and i think it was the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in. Other than that the hotel was excellent, perfect location and great environment."
"This was such a great hotel in many ways! The location is awesome, the in-hotel restaurants are accessible and spacious and there are lots of fun activities e.g. happy hour in the lobby etc. We have Marcos who checked us in and he was the best- friendly, helpful, and efficient! He remembered me the next few days and always said hi to me too- which I thought was particularly nice! We had a suite for 4 adults- which was perfect for us. It was a nice room and very spacious and the bathroom was clean."
