"Spent 4 nights at Hyatt Grand Central. It is conveniently located and sits right next door to Grand Central Terminal. If you plan to use public transit, this hotel is the one for you. You can walk to the shops on 5th Ave, St Patrick’s Cathedral, Rockefeller Plaza, and even Central Park if your feet allow you to. About the hotel itself…. Well I have to say, it’s an old hotel and seems like all the updating was done in the lobby, cause it’s a really nice lobby. The rooms itself are old. Mine smelled a little like mildew even after I sprayed Lysol. The bathroom really small especially the sink. Some of the wall paper peeling off on top of the doorway in the bathroom because of all the condensation from the steam when you shower. The reading lights by the bed were not working and falling apart. But again you’re there to sleep and shower only. And from what I hear, all the hotels are old there. The only thing this hotel has going is the location."
