Peeling paint, light and exhaust fan in bathroom non-functional, plastic sheeting over the windows that were covered with wrinkled sheer curtains, space heater for heat, uncomfortable, lumpy mattress, dirty floors. Pricy for its condition. Only redeeming quality is location.

The owner is running a scam that I can’t quite figure out. I have to shorten the story due to space but he told me that I had booked the cheapest room and that I probably wasn’t going to like the room. He showed me a handwritten $ but it was far less than what I paid through Expedia and he just shrugged and said you never know what ythrough Expedia. So he brings us down into the basement! The first room was awful. He then led us down a corridor to another. It’s not a nice basement and is clearly unsafe. He ended up showing us a room i

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The room had a comfortable king bed with plenty of outlets for electronics. We had a whirlpool tub with 2 shower heads. The shower heads had plenty of pressure with lots of hot water. We received a parking pass, and walked everywhere through charming neighborhoods, shopping areas, restaurants, piers. Sections of the interior were a little worn, but overall, a pleasant experience. We would definitely stay here again.

I love staying here in the past . This time i was a little disappointed that the caroet in my room was so old and so dirty. It definitely is time to remove that carpet. Theyve ysed so much caroet fresh that the riom smelled way too strong like it. Also not having a window that opens was highly disappointing- no fresh air. I think the place beeds some improvements. Location is excellent and staff are great.

The hotel served its purpose for our one night trip. Great location, property was dated but did provide the historical antique feel that it advertises. Staff was nice but seemed very overwhelmed and disorganized at check in. We were asked to come back 2 hours after our check in time, at which point our room was still not ready. We were given an upgrade to a nicer room. It was about eight blocks to the the new location. The room was bigger and had a nice big jacuzzi tub, but it simply wasnt connected and not useable. The new building had no staff present. The breakfast service was a mystery. The dining room had a keurig machine but no coffee pods. Apparently you have to give your breakfast order the night before, but we were not made aware of this. We like to explore our surroundings and try local spots to eat so this was not an issue for us. I could see how this could get old during a longer stay.
