"For a short stay (1-3 nights), it's a good deal (room vs price) but limited service. No batteries in the TV remote control and no power button on the TV so I've contacted the hotel through Expedia. They don't seem to be physically in the area since they sometimes answered a few hours later and they need to ask someone to come on-site. "The photos are accurate. The place is very clean and updated. The beds were comfortable. The parking spot fit a Toyota Noah van with maneuvering. Our family of 4 would come back. Two block walk from the river if you wanted a morning walk or jog along it. FYI the flight of stairs to living quarters is steep, narrow and approximately 20. You will need to be able to carry your suitcases up, especially difficult if large and heavy."

"私の家族と両親で7月初めに3泊ほど宿泊しました。ホテル規模自体は小さくフルサービスホテルではありませんが、とにかく全てが素晴らしかったです。スタッフは親切で、到着時、荷物と家族をホテル入り口で降ろしてほんの100メートルくらい先にある駐車場に車を置きに行った時、家族を迎えてくれた男性スタッフがサッとホテル専用車を駐車場まで走らせて、そこからホテルまで送って下さいました。夜で暗かったから気を利かせて下さったのだと感激しました。部屋は広くて綺麗。細かい事だけど気に入ったのが、洗面台の壁に化粧水など並べて置ける部分が設けられてる事。連泊滞在者向けにはピッタリだと思いました。部屋はシャワーのみでしたが、大浴場があったので毎日お風呂に入れました。唯一このホテルで欠点を挙げるなら、大浴場のお湯が異様に熱かった事。小さめなので回転率を上げる為なのかなと勝手に推測。ロビーには日替わりで試飲できるワインと、飲めない人にもジュースが用意されており、スナックも日替わりで変わるのが地味に嬉しかったです。朝食バフェの規模は大きくないですがその割に種類が豊富で、北海道らしく牛乳の飲み比べもできて楽しいです。感覚として滞在者の半分は海外からなのかと。英語でのコミュニケーションも問題なし。ラウンジにけん玉やこまなど日本のおもちゃが色々あり、子供も遊べて楽しめました。満足度の高いホテルで、また富良野に行く機会があれば絶対ココに泊まりたいですし、色んな人にお勧めしたいホテルです。忙しくてレビューが遅くなりましたが、お世話になりました！"

"Our family had a wonderful stay at Fenix Furano. We stayed in a two bedroom and one bathroom apartment. It was very comfortable, clean, modern, and spacious for family of 4. The washer/dryer combo was very useful for our long travel trip. The room had a balcony with beautiful view of the city. Breakfast buffet had moderate quantity and healthy choices. Breakfast room was small yet their staff was attentive, standing and waiting to help us. This hotel will be a great accomodation for skiers since it is right in front of the gondola base. We appreciate their kindness to accommodate our early check in request. We lost our driver license and couldn't arrive on a rental car as planned. We had to take the Lavender Express so we arrive much earlier. Being able to check in and rest truly made our day better. We highly recommend this hotel."

"We are a family of four and stayed here for one night. The staff spoke limited English, but they were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were able to communicate without any problems. This is an older, traditional Japanese hotel. It’s not luxurious, but that’s exactly the kind of authentic experience we were looking for. Guests can enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks, including beer, in the lounge, which was a wonderful touch. My husband and I are heavily tattooed, and we were welcomed into the onsen without any issues, which was a huge bonus for us. The dinner was excellent! I highly recommend booking a meal plan, as the hotel is located in the mountains and there are no supermarkets or convenience stores nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially relaxing in the onsen. We would happily stay here again!"

"We loved this Swiss looking artsy hotel , with a beautiful lobby that you can roast marshmallows at by the fire pit indoors, some free beverages for guests in the afternoon , and many amenities you can take up to your room like fancy shampoos and hair masks. My dad and brother enjoyed the Onsen very much. The room was rather spacious and was spotless, the bathroom was very tiny almost like a cruise bathroom. Breakfast buffet was delicious with many western and Japanese options and in a picturesque room overlooking the village with sun coming in through the windows"
