"Plumber Manor is a perfect place to stay if you want a peaceful retreat in beautiful gardens , a comfortable bed and delicious food. It has a well stocked bar and the wine prices are reasonable. The only negative was the wifi was weak in the courtyard room we stayed in which caused โ€˜bufferingโ€™ when watching a film. We mentioned it to staff and it will be rectified. It is a family owned hotel so the service feels personal. Somewhere we would definitely like to return to. There are many interesting places to visit nearby, including the Jurassic coast and National Trust properties. The hotel staff will help to plan your day."

"We had a nice overnight stay. it was a halfway house between Cornwall and east Sussex. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was really good and well organised. The only issue we had was the curtains in our room (no.2) . They don't stretch all the way across, several hooks were missing and the middle bracket looked as if it was about to fall out the wall! We ended up holding it all together with pegs we'd travelled with Other than that all was good - a lovely old pub in a lovely part of England."
