"It is an old building but the renovations made it cozy enough for me and my partner. Even though it is an old building the friendly staff and their smiles made it easy for us to easily give it an easy review. Thank you to the front desk lady that got us in swiftly and the lady that kept refilling the scrambled eggs during breakfast. You are all wonderful people! "

"A very interesting historical building and it’s pretty cool that It’s still operating as a hotel. I was very comfortable in my room. The staff was friendly. I had noisy neighbours downstairs, but that’s no fault of the establishment. Other than that I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Thunder Bay. "

"Very spacious and clean room. Very nice that room has two chairs to sit on. Usually other hotels has just one. We asked for room with easy access to our door and we got it. Red Squirrel and Chipmunks are living at nearby trees. Nice to see them around! Close to beautiful sunset spot, waterfront with lots of flowers. Three dollar self care Premium Car Wash nearby if you need one. Beautiful Duchesnay Waterfalls trails are 15 min drive away. Western side of the Falls are the best!"
