"Great hotel! I stayed here with my dad during the Oceanman event. The location is perfect, as it's only a few meters from the start area of the Half Oceanman race. "This hotel was amazing! Great location, beautiful views overlooking lake orta. Beautiful walkway on the lake and the city was amazing and very walkable. Beds were comfortable, amazing bathroom! Great shower and double sinks. Wish we could have stayed here longer. We missed the breakfast as we had an early departure but it looked fantastic! Beautiful room and lots of selections."

"We loved our stay at Il Giardinetto. The hotel is beautiful and right on the lake. We had a room with a balcony and lake view and really enjoyed the beautiful view every day for our first cup of coffee. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and modern. All the staff were charming and very helpful. We spent the night before at a hotel close to Milan airport, as we were arriving in the evening and worried about delays. Hotel Il Giardinetto arranged a car to come and pick us up the next morning and bring us to Lake Orta, which we very much appreciated. We took advantage of the pedal boat and kayak available to rent, and also enjoyed taking the ferry, which conveniently calls at the hotel jetty twice a day. The breakfast is very good here, but the restaurant, which is open for lunch and dinner is superb. I highly recommend this hotel - we had such a peaceful and relaxing stay here and were sorry to leave"
