"We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Hanoi. It was really great and would easily recommend. The location is super convenient as it's located right in the Old Quarter. The room was a bit smaller than anticipated, but was all we needed. Aircon and wifi were appreciated. Breakfast was included and had good buffet and hot alacarte options. The staff were amazing, especially Anna who gave us tons of tips on tours (booked thru her for our halong bay cruise). We also used their airport pick up service which went smoothly. All in all a perfect choice for about $45usd/nt."

"I really enjoyed staying at the Solaria. It is located next to the Old Quarter of Hanoi, which is the area that all visitors go to because it has lots of shopping, restaurants, night market, and things to see. Room was nice and clean. Free breakfast was pretty good with lots of choices. The staff is very professional and courteous. Upon my arrival, they also let me check-in early. Also, on the day that I departed, my flight was late in the evening, so they stored my luggage for me while I spent my last afternoon exploring. (I liked that they stored it in a locked room behind the reception, as it seemed more secure than other hotels that just leave your luggage in a corner of the lobby.)"

"The check-in, breakfast, location, staff, all were great. The general manager and his assistant were always around and helping us about Hanoi. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast with western and Vietnamese choices was great. Rooftop bar for a drink or two had wonderful view. Location was central. Walking distance to lake Kiem. Loads of places to have dinner and Hanoi beer. It was a great hotel to stay in Hanoi and feel at home. It was the staff who made it so wonderful. "

"I have been to many hotels around the world (US, Canada, France, Dominican Republic) but this hotel is in my top 3 favorite hotels around the world. The attention to detail is 10/10. The staff 10/10. The room 10/10. I am allergic to ALOT for example seafood, nuts, egg, flour, wheat and the list goes on. Imagine how worried I was coming to Vietnam but this hotel menu and buffet melted away all my worries. The waiter and cooks always made sure I could eat the food. Every item was fresh and tasty. The concierge service booked us a 7 passenger seater van the night before we left to Ha Long Bay. If I could give this hotel more than 5 stars I would. And I did not have to worry about talking my phone out for translation they understand stood my English. I love a cold room and I was not limited to a certain temperature. I will be traveling for 3 weeks in Vietnam and I have another Melia hotel booked in central Vietnam and I’m so excited. "
