"The room was super clean and nice. However extremely inconvenient to get to, you have to take a certain elevator that always has a line of people waiting. Lots of fun things to do that you can walk to in the casino and a few restaurants to grab food easily."

"Been staying at the Whitney Peak Hotel for more than twenty years. It has gone downhill recently - probably related to the Hilton purchase. Some of the staff seem to be out-to-lunch. Asked for a restaurant recommendation and was directed to Denny's. Not OK. The Whitney Peak is still the only hotel in Reno I am aware of that does not have a casino and does not allow smoking. Still important to me. Room was clean. Bedframes appear to have been replaced with cheap junk. Headboards too. Very hard to find a good place to plug in adapters for charging electronics. Bathroom seemed to be the only option. Not convenient if you need your phone during the night or for alarms, etc. The Whitney Peak has become very popular with airline crews. Probably because there is no casino and no smoking. Probably also has something to do with the purchase by Hilton. The restaurant is OK, but there are much better places to eat in Reno."
